70 yards allowed over 425 snaps ain’t half bad…. especially when you’re used to having cbs that regularly give up more than 70 yards before halftime.

You’re kidding, right?
He’s going to get every opportunity to win playing time. Bennett was given that opportunity as a rookie, too, but could not handle it. Not too sure if they will be that aggressive with Porter, however. This was my favorite pick, but I don't want to hype him up and be disappointed (we don't ever do that around here. He still has a lot to learn.
Yeah I think Scrabble was a Safety at California but it's rare.Has anyone with 7 college starts ever made the jump to starting NFL CB that quickly? Got to believe Bennett, Stokes and Richardson will be the first three to play outside and Porter will come in only upon injury or failure by one or more of them.

Putting aside the shift from starts to games, that’s 693 snaps in 3 years. That’s not even a full season. Good thing he also played CB in HS. lol
Not sure if serious. LolIt’s 3 seasons of practice and film study though.

Why wouldn’t I be? You think players sit in stasis when they’re not taking game snaps or something? He’s been actively learning the position for a few years now. lol.
That sounds a lot better than @Sleet ‘s statement “ He only started seven games.”Why wouldn’t I be? You think players sit in stasis when they’re not taking game snaps or something? He’s been actively learning the position for a few years now. lol.
He's also very mature.
Will be one of the very few 25 year old rookies in the NFL. So he's seen some shit having been in college for nearly a decade.
Hopefully he picks it up quick. Just stick him out on the boundary and play him on special teams. We dont need to watch youtube videos and breakdown any bullshit metrics to make this harder than it has to be.
I know better than to make any predictions but he checks enough boxes that I’m intrigued at least.
That’s about as positive one can be about bench warming, I suppose. Why wouldn’t I be? You think players sit in stasis when they’re not taking game snaps or something? He’s been actively learning the position for a few years now. lol.
