Welcome to the team - CB Darien Porter

Getting zero penalties hows he knows some things about the position. I aware he has a lot of room to grow. Some people catch on faster than others.

The profile of Porter and last year's 4th rounder Richardson are similar in H/S/Wingspan. I wonder if Carroll is also gonna be able to help Decam.

I'm curious to see how Bennett responds to the Carroll style of DB development. Hopefully he stays healthy and builds on what he showed before getting sidelined.

Another Carroll type CB. Only 5'11", but 31-7/8 inch arms, 4.3 speed, 40.5 vert and 11.1 broad with 13 reps @225.

Plays physical. Keep himself healthy, he has what it takes to play how Carroll wants his corners to play press man. For all of them, makeup speed is key, because aggressiveness doesn't mean disaster.

Still wondering if he gets moved inside.

Stokes/ramsey/porter/richardson

Richardson fits the Carroll mode best, and seems to have the ability to be coached. Him and Porter could be scary IF they can play to the level of their physical abilities.

Pete says everyone competes and gets a chance to show. He specifically was referring to the rookies. We shall see.

Whole different pass rush this year. More press man done competently should give the D-line time. The crosses and slants need to be anticipated by the safeties and any LB on the field and punish any WR dumb enough to catch one of those routes.

With his size I wonder if he could be a Kelce killer, or negate any of these bigger stud TEs

Sure didn’t chase a big (or small) DT in case Wilkins is injured. A little surprised as I wanted a big NT even if Wilkins is healthy, and especially if he’s not.

I can pretty much guarantee we draft a nose by end of day unless a talented guy or two just shouldn't be where they are.
