Welcome to the team Brock Bowers

Our TE2 got top 5 TE money. Wouldn't be surprised if our TE1 got top 5 WR money.

Someone was saying he was our WR1 prior to the season. Can't remember who but it was probably someone that also said we weren't running a 1972 3-4 defense either.

I know everyone loves Tucker, but I feel like we've got a bunch of #3's with maybe a 2b in there if someone develops... fortunately Klint seems to be creative enough to make it work while Bowers is healthy, but I dont think we put enough pressure on defenses to make it work against the best teams

We’ll find out tomorrow. It’s W4, will Reid and Spags provide a blue print as to how to expose and exploit the Raiders’ personnel?

Could be true and unfortunately our run game isn’t helping but this thing wasn’t getting fixed in one year… which it might if we win tomorrow

That is ignoring a lot of context. The frustration was over wanting a quarterback. Bowers is a magnificent player but the team won seven games his first two years because it lacked a credible quarterback.

That is a reasonable point. It also illuminates the folly of drafting primarily for need.

What QB did we pass on would you rather have than Mendoza and Bowers

I think people like Mendoza but how are we supposed to predict the future and that he’d be the one we were able to get? At the time it seemed reasonable to move up a spot and grab Nix.

At this point? Probably no one. (Holding out hope for Penix now that he is healthy.)

But it is not like we knew Mendoza was coming in 2026. Heck, if the Cowboys hadn't pulled their starters in Week 18 last year, we don't have him or Kubiak.

Things worked out but Bowers in 2024 and 2025 were like owning a Rolls Royce but living in a trailer park.

Again, fair.

I wanted no part of Nix. No arm. Old college QB (sure helped Shough) who picked up Peyton's O quickly. That and an elite D wins you some games.

But this year is showing his limitations. Book on him is out.

It's all just wild ass guesses. Someone even predicted a SB within 3 years if we got JJ and JPJ.

Nix beating the injury-plagued ‘9ers would be upsetting.

Meh Kinda GIF by Cultura
