Welcome to the team Brock Bowers

Considering he played with a broken back for multiple weeks I think we would have been okay. The kid showed some guts this year and will go a long ways towards his respect in the locker. So ya I love Brock but would rather have Bo. Then again he was my #2 ahead of Daniels by a tad bit. Can’t go back and change how I felt based upon JD absolutely killing it.
That Bronco team who got destroyed by the Bills also had 90 million dollars in dead cap space this season. Broncos are going to get even better when they get past that Wilson dead cap. Which sucks.

Telescope’s failure to trade up pre-draft and apparent lack of interest in Nix pretty much sealed the deal re: QB, and Telescope paid the price for it. Getsy/Minshew exposed that decision. Bowers is a parting gift.

That and he pretty much passed on every other QB in the draft after he struck out in the 1st round. I mean we couldn’t have gave Milton a stab at it in the 5th or 6th round, what’s he like 6’4” 235 with a cannon and mobility? Smh

Could have signed Carrnold or the Midget, rather than Minshew, for less money.
Could have moved up for JJ or Penix.
Fucked up the Kingsbury signing and we wind up with Getsy.
His HC hires in SD were terrible.

Summary: Tasked with securing a QB and OC and failed miserably. No reason to believe he'd have brought in a good HC. What fucking good is he ?

Seemingly very strong top of 2024 draft not enough to save his ass.

Bye bye, Telescope.

I think it's pretty simple. Mark and Tom tested the waters to see how retaining him would affect their coaching search and the feedback was candidates either didn't want to work with him or just preferred their own guy. It was a vote of no confidence by the coaching market.

I’m sure some of the candidates would have been fine with Tom. Just not the ones we really wanted. The firing of Tom to me was all about how we have real interests from a few of the top tier candidates and we need to actually focus on them rather than the 3rd tier guys.

Pay no attention to Moe.
LOL. Why do I even waste time trying to educate your stubborn old ass ?

It was virtually impossible to move up to 1.1, 1.2, and maybe 1.3. Bears, Skins, and Pats just weren't moving off of Caleb, Daniels and Maye. Those were the 'big 3'.

JJ, Penix, and Nix all could have been had if a team/GM wanted to pay the price and move up for them.

Timid Tom Telesco didn't want it bad enough.

Also, pay attention to this fact:
SloMoe fucking sucks.

Bowers is elite and what is more, he would be elite on any team. Don't matter how badly coached nor how bad the QB. He is that good.

Now that the Raiders have him, it might be a good idea to surround him with at least average talent on offense.

When you find something special, you go about doing what you can to maximize on that promise.

This part is completely true and not debatable at the least we could have gotten the Falcons pick for ours and Davante.
Might have missed the boat there. Taking a swing usually includes some risk.

Penix sucks, I wouldn't take him if he was for free.
