Yeah, unfortunately Mahomo fits the bill when it comes to APs Come Back Player Award.

Its guidance says the award is intended for a player who demonstrates resilience by overcoming "illness, physical injury or other circumstances that led him to miss playing time the previous season." Merely finishing this season with a winning record will likely get him this one.

Got pressures. Got a takeaway. Switched back when the Saints adjusted.

He's getting pretty creative for sure.

I wonder about Koonce in a contract year. Looking like a dude but will it continue and if it does will he turn back into a pumpkin if he gets an extension?

I'm not sure that they viewed Crawford as playing the same role as Koonce and no telling if he will be worth a shit when he comes back.

Can't have too many pass rushers so if Koonce keeps it up they will probably take their chances with an extension.

Paye and Koonce are a good tandem. Paye without Koonce might suck. Like you said, no telling what we’ll get from Crawford. We certainly won’t know before FA/draft.
