Maybe this is the year that it will actually matter who's returning kicks.

I think that was Pete's goal when putting the defense together, to improve that. It was something I pointed to that they needed to get better at last year going into the year, and they basically ended up right smack dab in the middle at giving up 116 rushing yards again versus 118 in 2023. We should be better than that this year if Pete gets his way.

It's his first game. It's why I don't have high expectations for Jeanty. I think the Henderson hype is getting overblown because people liked him in the draft. I just know a rookie Rb's head is going to be spinning with all of the protections they need to know, let alone the difference in the physicality of the game versus what they've seen in camp and preseason.

Yeah just don't want an Eddie royal type game where we aren't prepared for him
