Denver’s sputtering 19th ranked offense goes to Pittsburgh to face the 6th ranked defense. The Steelers give up the 16th fewest points in the league and Denver has put the 6th fewest points on the board.
Pittsburgh puts their 10th ranked offense (after a demoralizing defeat in Oakland) up against the league’s 10th ranked defense. Pittsburgh puts up the 10th most points but the Broncos give up the 2nd fewest points in the league.
Expecting this to be a tight game, I don’t think it’s a good bet. The caliber of defense should make this low scoring. Roethlisberger will once again be the wild card. Can he keep the turnovers down? Of course this season, that’s again become the question for Jake Plummer.
