Week 4: Chiefs

I think we play them tough. Not sure we will win but I'm not expecting the usual blowout from them.

We've played them tough through some bad regimes. Got the Christmas win and should have beaten them the next year under AP when JPJ was crying after the game. Had the other game that year where the offense couldn't score from the one like ten times. Last year got the meaningless end of year win. I'd say we've played them pretty even the last few years. Observations of them is that they haven't gotten much pressure since week one. Rush defense is good so it will be another rough day for our running game. Their DBs are young and can be exploited. They don't have any answers for Brock like most teams. Mahomes is back to form. Keying in on Walker helped the Dolphins stay in the game because they still don't have a dominant receiver in their offense, so as crazy as it is to say, that's probably the better play is to stop the run first. This will be close.

This is the start of a really tough stretch.

Chiefs-Pats-Bills-Rams is a tough go.

If we can look competitive in most and sneak a win or two I am ecstatic.

We already look like a real NFL team.
I originally had us losing all of them. Now I think we win at least one and maybe two.

More. We will lose, but I don't think it's more than two of them. Buffalo makes a lot of mistakes, no one is scared of the Schedule, Kubiak knows that Seattle team's personnel while they don't know ours, and we played Denver and the Chefs tight through bad regimes just from division familiarity. Rams ain't so hot either. This is our time, damn it. Without Laube's fumble, yesterday is another double digit win. We running this shit.

Fuck the Chiefs. Sure would be nice to get this one. Chiefs are still damn good and Mahomes is still a star but they are beatable.
I don’t like the match-up. KC’s strength on D (Chris Jones) is our weakness. KC’s new found strength on O (Walker) might run for 200 yards as Mohomo extends drives. :(

I am not nearly as confident as many here. Turnovers have played a huge role in our past two victories. Yes, some of that is a credit to our defense, but some of it has also been opposing teams making dumbass mistakes at the worst possible times.

I still don’t see the consistent run game we are going to need to win against good teams. And while I love how opportunistic our secondary has been, that, too, is not necessarily the most consistent part of this team.

I’ll obviously be watching and hoping for the best and, of course, praying that I’m wrong.

P.S. Very interested to see what would happen if Washington was given more attempts. A lot more.

Yep and these things have a way to even themselves out. No way you can count on that kind of + turnover ratio to continue.

For now though -- I'll take it! :D

Chiefs @ Raiders for the lead in the division and implications in the conference.
:beerbang:

The Chiefs are already benefiting from their long standing love affair with the refs. So, expect some b.s calls. They also want to be a running team and for once we have LBs who can shut it down. Getting Stukes back for this game will be huge. If he can't play, either McCollum or the other rookie safety need to play. At this point, Pola Mao isn't even worth rostering. This is also a game in which Cousins will need to get the WRs involved. This one should be close.

If Josh Allen gives the Raiders as many chances to win as he did the Chokers yesterday, the Raiders walk out with a win.
