San Diego’s 3rd ranked offense flies into the heartland to face Cincinnati’s 24th ranked defense. No other team scores more than the Chargers and the Bengals are in the middle of the pack When it comes to giving them up. It doesn’t really sound like a formula that will slow San Diego down.
Cincinnati’s 18th ranked offense plays hosts for the 2nd ranked defense in the league. The Bengals put the 12th most points in the league while San Diego allows fewer points than all but 5 teams. Carson Palmer and crew face an uphill battle.
The over/under suggests there will be points aplenty. With Shawne Merriman serving his ‘roid suspension the over isn’t a bad bet?
