I thought the new Broncos were cool until I saw one on the road, no.

They're different for sure. My wife thinks they're ugly. Honestly not trying to take on a payment for a brand vehicle.

WTH is up with the Mustang though?

Buncha fancy cars. My new truck is a 66 f-250. Third mid 60s Ford pickup and first with power steering. At least the body is in decent shape on this one, and glad to have a manual transmission again

Shoot. That's badass. I'd take that any day over these new cars.

And that 60s power steering is pretty sweet. You can turn it with just a fingertip.

So ended up getting a Challenger V6 for the wife and am in the process of doing some mild upgrades.

Anyone have any experience with muffler/exhaust options for a newer car? Not looking for anything obnoxious and preferably just a muffler swap out vs. changing the entire exhaust system. V6 makes it a little tougher but it's her car so I'm not going to be too picky about it. I just don't want something that ends up sounding like a Honda.

I've been looking for a vintage Corvette, namely the 1990 ZR-1 but the ones I saw were pretty pricey. Met a guy on a cruise who owned several repair shops in Detroit. Told me to look at a 93 Cadillac Allante. Said with my height would be difficult getting in and out of the Vette plus they are a lot more affordable.

Really had no intention of buying a Cadillac but after doing some research I bit the bullet. It's no ZR-1 but it has the Northstar V-32 engine (the only year for the Alliance) and is plenty fast. Cadillac wanted to build a roadster that would compete with Jaguar and Mercedes. The body was designed by Pininfarina in Italy at the same assembly line they make the Ferrari bodies. The bodies were flown back in 747's to Detroit to complete the assembly. 1993 was the last year they were made and only 21,000 made in all. There's not a lot of them around and mine came in teal which Cadillac produced only 150 of in 93. I also got the hard top to go with the convertible top it comes with. I have the original sticker and it retailed for over $60k back in 93.

Car is pristine and the seller gave me a box of trophies it has won in car shows. It's a sharp looking car and I get compliments all the time.

You go cruising for boys in that thing Turk? :D
I think it's pimp actually, if you have a super clean 93 that's bad ass.

My brother and I gotta decide what to do with my dad's 1965 Aston Martin DB5 Coupe. At present, it's mostly disassembled as my dad was trying to restore it to it's former glory from back when I was a kid. He bought it when we were stationed in England in the early 70s. Right hand drive and glorious steel color is what I remember of it. Selling price as is, would probably go for 200-400K. If it's restored, it would go for 1-1.5MM.

Neither of us have the time or money to finish the restoration at present and my brother is going to finish up the Lotus Elan (+2 I think) that my dad didn't get to finish, so that may take up all his efforts for now.

Luckily, my dad was able to finish restoring the Triumph TR4 (minus the repaint) before he passed. Gotta get that wrapped up so my mom can get at least one more drive in that with the top down.

So I sold my E63 and my truck and bought a KIA Telluride. It’s unbelievably nice… lux car quality.
I was considering going electric but turns out only Tesla decided to build a charging network and everyone else pushing electric cars has diddlefuck  like seriously what were they all thinking?
I just saw Ford offering 0% financing on their crappy e mach thing, that’s when you know they are desperate.
Maybe when it’s time to replace my wife’s car we’ll go electric.
