Vehicle enthusiasts

I bought a 64 chevelle restoration project about 2 months ago. Its been years since I have done this kind of thing. Im trying to teach the kids how to do stuff like this.

Had a 65 Impala SS that I got rid of recently as I’m in the process of prying my mom’s old 67 Camaro from my sister (who’s being kind of a pain in the ass about it). Before that I’ve had a 66 Impala SS, 67 Impala fastback, and a 73 glass house.

66 Chevelle is probably my favorite muscle car but my wife really wants an old C10 truck. I’m kinda digging one of those old Suburbans though.

I love cars but I’m mechanically challenged.
I had a 1970 Challenger RT that was pretty bad ass but ya kind of need to be a wrencher to own something like that.
That is a really cool car. I didnt like fords or mopar when i was younger but all of those cars are bad ass.

Those Impalas are huge. Great cars though. I never owned one. I did have a 69 Catalina that I beat the piss out of. I bought it for the engine and the trans. My first car was a 68 Camaro. Hope you can get your mom's 67. They're fun Cars too.

current ride-- this is stock photo but exact car. I love the look of the old cars but some of the new ones are bad ass... I wish I had more places I could get away with driving it like I want to.

@gst8 will roast me (I think it was you who gave me shit for buying a Ford before), but I bought a 2020 Explorer ST in June. Love it. Rides like a dream, looks great, 0-6 in 5.1 in a 3rd row SUV is not too shabby....BUT!

I had to have the transmission fully replaced at about 2k miles lmao. My loaner was the same car so no biggie, but that’s crazy right?

Cool! I've heard of 3 cylinder engines but I've never actually seen one close up.

I kid, I kid...

I want to get my wife a new car and she’d love that. I want to test drive one of their SUV’s (sometimes we trade cars because she needs the storage and I just don’t like sitting low any more), I test drove a BMW X3 and loved it. But I think she prefers the Mercedes, or even Acura style. Did you look at their SUV line up as well or was it car all the way?

Lol. I really thought I was gonna get an X5 but with everything I wanted it was gonna be outrageous and I just couldn’t talk myself into spending that much in a vehicle I’m only gonna out like 8k miles on (if that) a year.

When it happened I was like, the universe is telling me I should have bought the BMW. I’ve wanted one for years and wound up not doing it lmao. Oh well. I do really like it.

Another SUV I went to check out because I liked the way it looked was the Telluride. Those are fuckin nice man. Only thing is they are a tad sluggish. If KIA throws a modded Stinger engine in one, which I bet they will because sales are through the roof following all the good reviews the SUV got on top of how it looks. That would be a bad ass ride.

Have you seen the 2021 Cherokee with the Hellcat in it? That Super Car Blondie lady fuckin’ smoked a Nissan GTR in it twice. With two passengers in it with her lmao. Crazy.

You guys are some ballers. I got a 2000 Suburban pushing 300k lol.

2004 Jeep Cherokee with 250+ here. I almost always drive vehicles until they drop. The car I had before this, I actually coasted into the dealership. When I was signing the papers on the Jeep, they asked me if it was OK to take my old clunker around back. I said, "If you can get it started, you can do whatever you want."

Wife wants an M4 which I'll probably spring for in the next year or two. Had to get my daughter a car after she wrecked her first one which put back the new car for dad budget a couple of years. I don't mind much though although not having a truck is a pain in the ass (sold mine last year). Old cars float my boat more than new ones except for practical purposes.

Kia is really filling that quality for your dollar slot that Honda, Toyota, and Nissan have left behind though.
