I keep reading about the lack of tourism in Vegas. Any of you fuckers live there? If so, is this true and how bad is it?

Without going into the politics. Less people are coming to the US. Americans have less disposable income to spend.

We actually got tickets to the game after Christmas against the NYG. Will be my first trip to Vegas in almost 30 years.

Pretty much sums it up.

Makes sense. I myself have never had a desire to go.

It is surprising that it doesn't attract more tourists because, with the half-size improvements of the Eiffel Tower, San Marco Campanile, Arc de Triomphe, Brahma Shrine and Trevi Fountain, there really is nothing to be gained by visiting the originals.

I live here hut dont work in tourism so dont really notice it much. Everything seems par for the course since ive lived here.

I was just in Vegas and it was packed. I heard people saying that. All the restaurants on the strip were crowded, in front of the Bellagio it was packed watching the fountains. All through Caesar’s and the Venetian it was crowded. So I don’t know. We’ll see how packed games are soon

My son lives in Vegas so I visit 3-6 weeks a year. IMO it’s hit and miss with the crowds. Combination of legalized Gambling everywhere, high end casino prices and market saturation. How many hotel rooms are now across the Strip?

No glory in $35 Hamburgers for me.

Shags and Lang, I’ll hit you up next time I’m in town. Ori’Zaba Grill. Best deal in town for some decent Tacos.

Been there a few times mainly for trade shows. No desire to visit unless maybe taking in a game at some point.
I don’t think I ever want to attend a game there. I’m not sure if I ever want to attend another game period. I haven’t been since Miami in 2012 or 13. The only time I need to go to a game would be if they play in Green Bay. That’s a bucket list thing for me.

Yah kind of how I feel. Maybe when they put a decent product on the field I might.

Like I said we are going to the NYG game. Right after Christmas. Flex game so it's hard to make any kind of plans or reservations for dinner. We won't know when the game will be until Goodell moves his bowels and tells us.

Trying to figure out some good restaurants not in a casino. Maybe off the beaten path. Not really into the celebrity chef thing. Although we'll probably hit up one. Or maybe a good buffet.

If they had played Washington in DC two years ago I may have gone, but they look like legit contenders so it will most likely be a blowout this year. I’ve never seen them win in person.

Went to the Saints game a few years ago. They didn’t even cross the 50 all game lol. They were here in Tampa last year. Why bother?

They say this is the best steakhouse in town. The place looks like a dump but been there forever and reservations can be hard to get…

The wife loves Prime rib. I believe they have it a long with steaks. I've heard of it being an old school place. Sounds worth a shot. But like I said making reservations is problematic due to the game.

I have tickets for that one.

I was at the B'More game last season and the one in 2016. Both wins!

I was at the DC game in 2017. That was the beginning of the end for JDR.

Not planning on going to the DC game this season even though I'm thinking that it will be a good game. Just don't want to be around the dregs of humanity that seem to be going out in public as of late.
