UDFA to root for:

This is Walter Thomas, DT from NW Mississippi CC.

Recruited to OK State, left for academic reasons.

Recently ran 5.12 40 yard dash. He's 6'5", 370 pounds.

I was thinking about him for Little Al, but he only played two games at the CC (19 tackles, and 4 sacks I think:eek: ), so I doubt he gets drafted, but love to see him in Europa for Oakland.
 
If Terd can develop after 2-4 years the way he did, this guy is going to be a suprise 5th rounder, IMO...

You can't teach 6-5 370 with 5.1 speed and agility to match.

That a fact? I know he played 2 games and then that all-star game last year. I was never able find out if he played CC ball in 2005. I can kind of see a 3-4 team like San Diego or New England using a 5th or 6th on him simply because its so damn hard now to find a nose tackle that has athletism.
 
I think Thomas is a candidate to get drafted anywhere from the 5th round on... I'd be very surprised to see him as a UDFA. The guy is no secret in scouting circles.

Exactly, remember how much we paid Sands. This guy could be very similair. He will be on our radar draft day.
