TV Discussion

Watched a couple episodes of Baylen Out Loud which is the reality show with the girl that has Tourette's. She says some fucking hilarious things, had me in tears. I think it wears out quick but good for an episode or two.

I always thought it would be cool for someone with Tourette's to be on Jeopardy. "I'll take history for $200, fuck, cocksucker fuck"

My cousin has Tourette’s on the more symptomatic end of the spectrum but no swearing. Just a bunch of twitches and stuttering and what not. He ended up having to be home schooled. Probably could have been a pro gamer if such a thing existed back then though.

My son had it when he was little. Eye twitches and gulping sounds. Then when he played ice hockey, grabbing neck guard and looking up at the arena lights. Eventually just outgrew it.

One episode left.
Right on. I like the show well enough, not a raving fan but it's good enough for me to continue watching. I do wish there were more DD action scenes. Hopefully that will happen at some point.

Is it just me, or does Charlie Cox move a little slower than he used to during fight scenes? He's several years older than before, so it's understandable. I just hope they don't rely too much on that squirrelly ass CGI I still haven't recovered from that shit in episode 1. :pound:

Hopefully the finale sticks the landing so there'll be optimism and anticipation heading into next season. Marvel desperately needs a win.

I think his moving slower is intentional as he basically took a year off from training. Essentially, he is out of shape and rusty as hell.

They could stunt double him if it was a physical issue. I think they’re just trying to make this show more grounded.

The Pitt.

Not a horrible show at all. Never would have considered a "medical drama".

Why is it "The Pitt"?

Pittsburgh Emergency room. Follows trauma/ER docs, nurses, medical staff and students etc over the course of 1 shift (An hour per episode).

Maybe I can relate to the lack of staffing, resources and funding part even though I'm not saving the lives lmfao.
