He has been released by Buffalo.

Maybe he could bring in some of that verteran leadership and stabilize the safety position at the same time.

He could really help mentor Huff.

is safety really our weakness on that level? IMO signing a DT, OL, TE, and/or FB come as priority over safety. But thats just me. Dont know if he's still good, but he posted good numbers, so i'm not against it. just not really high priority though.

Definately not our biggest need, but I was thinking more along the lines of teaching Huff.

OL, DL, TE and WR are our biggest needs right now IMO.

Eventually FS is going to be a problem. For now I think we need to concentrate on getting better on offense.

The defense is doing OK (sic) and Stu is occupying a spot for now. His lack of tackling ability at this level is alarming to me. He seems to be late making plays and he's not much of a ball hawk. I'm hoping we find a replacement for Huff at SS and more #24 to FS next season. That is where I think Huff can really shine and be a playmaker.

I'd like the Radiers to figure out a plan for bolstering that front four. It really is going to surface as our biggest need in the off season assuming Walter and the OL straighten things out.

We need someone to step up, or we need to bring in a stud DT and RDE. Other than that, I really think we're solid on defense. What will help our defense (not Troy Vincent, btw) is having an offense capable of sustaining drives. I'd rather get a solid O-lineman or two in here before we do anything else (outside of dumping Moss and Porter).

We need to make sure that Big Terd is re-signed. Although he may not be the stop gap we need at in the middle at least he's shown to be a run stopper when we've inserted him into the lineup. Hopefully Taj can step up as well. I'm not real enamored with the DT's in the 2007 draft aside from maybe Brandon Mebane. The free agent pickings aren't much better.

I'm really hoping Alan Branch comes out early... but the way we're going, I'd be shocked if we were able to pass up Calvin Johnson... The Cards just extended Darnell Dockett so that's one FA DT off the list...

Frankly, I'd be surprised if Vincent signed with anyone that is not a playoff contender...

It is a shame as he set the record for INTs at Purdue, beating Rod Woodson if I am not mistaken. He seemed just a step away from getting there as a rookie, but he hasn't ever managed to gain that yard.

i think its time to put Huff at FS

no need to ruin another players development by playing him out of position, just to go 2-14

moe him to free safety, and hope he works out

i have been a schweig supporter for a while, but huff is just more talented and has more potential
