Yeah. Changing eligibility rules every year or two and not clarifying ambiguities does not help.

Teams can easily more on with the rookie contracts.

Missing on a QB is one of the biggest draft fallacy comments out there. Instantly when that is typed I know the commenter is disconnected from reality and/or a herp derp.

Good teams all over the NFL have missed on early QBs recently and still contended, won divisions and even Super Bowls.

Indy missed on Richardson, San Fran on Lance, Vikings on JJ, Pitt on Pickett, Bears on Trubisky, Eagles/Rams on Goff/Wentz.

Good teams wont use the excuse that one draft pick can set you back.

A series of terrible coaching hires, free agency moves, draft whiffs and organizational failures make you suck. Players bust at all positions and one draft pick even if it is an important one doesnt set you back 6-7 years. Thats retarded.
