I was looking at our schedule next year and I must say that it looks BRUTAL...We face both Superbowl Contenders and a slew of playoff teams. Houston, Cleveland and Detroit are the easy's if you will....After that, tough teams or tough places to play. Coach Kiff better be ready to fight!

Home Games

Indianapolis Colts
Chicago Bears
San Diego Chargers
Kansas City Chiefs
Denver Broncos
Houston Texans
Cleveland Browns
Detroit Lions

On The Road

Jacksonville Jaguars
Tennessee Titans
Miami Dolphins
San Diego Chargers
Kansas City Chiefs
Denver Broncos
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings

Just think about how much better our young defense is going to be next season. How many teams up there will that D unit will be better than? Then invision the high powered offense we are all dreaming about and it makes you feel a little better about that nasty schedule.

I don't see that as a bad schedule at all.

Alotta cupcakes on there.

Depends on the makeup... It's a bit tougher if we happen to get both Jax and Miami early in the year when the Florida humidity is a major hump on visiting teams... Only one turf game...

On the other hand, we get both Cleveland and Detroit so there likely will be a JaMarcus-Saint Brady Quinn showdown :D

You've got more confidence then me my friend......5 real tough games thrown on top of our own division with two that will not be cake walks? Greenbay is tough to play espcially during winter, the Titans are a young good team and Minny has a great D. Granted the coordiantor is gone, that dome is tough to play. Jacksonville is tough, just underachievers and Miami has owned us and now will be coached by Cameron who owns us.

Well no schedule is gonna be gravy for this team, certainly not with our division and the Conference Champs involved, but I really only see Jack as a problem.

Tennessee is up and comming no doubt, but they've got issues and won by the skin of their teeth several times, I'll be it they defeated some quality.

I dunno mon, Minny and Green bay don't do much for me. I mean I'd love to have played them at home instead of Cleveland and Detroit, but Minny's O is in some serious transition with Johnson falling apart, and they don't have a passrush to speak of although they have a real solid run D. Same with Green bay. Favre is like 93 years old, and I just see them in as much flux as any semi-lousey team. Miami is also getting long in tooth on D, and their O(QB/line specifically) is somewhat of a cluster. Far as I'm concerned our Miami curse was lifted when we blanked them in the playoffs :D

I think we'll have a real advantage next season in that we'll be comming at teams as an unknown and I think we'll perform more solidly on offense with some energetic and intelligent leadership(and a move here or there)... I'm also anticipating continued improvement ou D.

If that dramatically changes the win/loss column, who's to say?... but I don't neccesarily put Miami, Minny, Green Bay, and Tennesse out of our class. Those are all teams with serious flaws.

I'm gonna try to get to that Vikings game. About a 6 hour drive and there are alot of Viking homers in North Dakota.
