Call it now or forever hold your peace.

Some of you are draft nics, some of us are not (I'm stepping forward on that description), so let's KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) and predict the first 2 players drafted by the Raiders. All of us should be able to handle that.

I'll start:

1.) JaMarcus Russell - QB

Even if it's a bit of stretch, Al Davis won't pass on the potential 'John Elway' talent. Particularly with his physical skills and the fact that Andrew Walter is the only other option.

2.) Dewayne Jarrett - WR

Makes sense on every level. With Moss & Porter gone or on the way out and lack of proven depth beyond Ronald Curry, the Raiders will be happy to nab the sliding Jarrett. Forget the 40 time, this cat can play. Period. This will be proven on the next level and it will be very nice to see the strong/accurate arm of Russell grow with a true "player" in Jarrett. Oh yeah, I've heard some rumors that Kiffin & Jarrett know each or something? :D

Calvin Johnson & Tony Ugoh
We give up the dream with Moss and find ourselves a good starter at T.

Quinn and Alama Francis.

A little low ceiling-high floor safety QB, and the opposite 'boom or bust' type at DE.

*These are my anti-Little Al picks, in order for me to cover all my bases*

;)

I will take a Cue from 007 and pick two guys that aren't my Lil Al picks.....

JaMarcus Russell QB LSU
&
Charles Johnson DE Georgia

JaMarcus and Anthony Spencer.

Best. Draft. Ever.
NICE :D
In the Lil Al I had Russell and Spencer, but I keep switching the top pick up depending on the days Rumors. So now I have Quinn and Spencer in my Lil Al.

Seriously, I am probably going to leave Lynch and Spencer off my Little Al, so I don't jinx it. :o

Not worried about JRuss, I think that's a lock, but I have a feeling we will come away with either Spencer, Moss, or Lynch at #33, or wherever we trade up to.

Thats my feeling on Alama-Francis.

He's been my favorite DE prospect for round 2 for a while now...

The dude is big, strong and athletic (He got worked out as a TE) and is a perfect complimentary type opposite of Burgess.

A couple draft sites are calling him a first round sleeper...He seems to be climbing instead of dropping.

Im keeping him off the little Al in hopes that he is our target. :)

I dunno, I'm still thinking we're going to draft Calvin Johnson and hold him for ransom.

That being said, smart money is on:

1. J-Rock
2. Tony Ugoh

I want Russell and Kalil at 1 & 2

But I gotta feeling like Tron said

Tt will be Calvin Johnson & Ugoh

Ugoh can play both tackle and guard

JaMarcus Russell #1 because:
1. He has two first names (JaMarcus, by definition, qualifies)
2. He's wearing all black to the draft ceremony
3. The Raiders have cut the two people who wore his #'s (Brooks(2) and Leo Bookman (4) on Tuesday)

Ugoh #2 because
1. Nancy Gay told me so
2. Al Davis told him that he (Davis) was the "King of Brooklyn"
3. Magic 8 Ball

If Al was rubbin elbows with Ugoh at his visit, thats a good sign. Calvin is just the #1 procspect and im so confused with who to take that im defferring to him for now. Ugoh fits a huge need RT. He also comes witht he chance to take over LT if Cable cant whip Gallery into a decent starter(Which i think he will)

Calvin Johnson and some sort of DT @33.

The more I think about this the more I am convinced Al ain't taking a QB at #1.
