Who wins the starting job?

Signing Jones is a desperation heave by a losing HC or a GM trying to win some meaningless games to save their skins.

Mark would be silly enough to buy into the strategy.
If either mention it they should be let go on the spot. Jones would be smart to stay away from here anyway.

Yeah but, if we don't get the right qb we screwed... think about it... Arch Manning !!! Our team will make Mcdonald's great again...
Ya, it's more important to draft the right QB than to " just take a swing".

Sheduer is better, IMO. I don’t love any of these QBs but we gotta take one.
He’s got a knack for short arming throws. Cam is the real deal aside from that one bonehead play he will have every game trying to make something happen. Ward reminds me a bit of Steve McNair and I loved watching him play.

Also Jaxson Dart is lot higher on my list than most I assume.

Yeah we could try out your boy Aidan again next year and win 5 games while we wait for the perfect selection in 2026 or 2027 :rotf:

This team needs to take a QB. It just is what it is. Decades of terrible decisions have put us here now. There is no perfect QB prospect, Arch Manning included.

"Jaxson Dart and Ole Miss saw their College Football Playoff hopes come to an end on Saturday as they fell 24-17 at Florida.

Dart was 24-of-41 for 323 yards and 2 touchdowns, taking 14 carries for 71 yards. But he threw a critical interception with just over 90 seconds to go in regulation as his pass to the end zone was picked off by the Gators’ Bryce Thornton.

The Rebels got the ball back with less than a minute remaining, but Dart threw another interception to Thornton as the Gators completed the upset."

Who you got?

List them in order.

Just a question but is Manning being anointed just because of the pedigree? What’s he ever really done beside throw about 25 passes in college?

Hyped since high school. Blood lines mobility size and the arm.

Great prospect. But who knows.

Trevor Lawrence was hyped in the same way and spends about 13 games a year leaving you scratching your head.

Maybe 2027 or 2028 has a guy?

Or maybe 2035.

Kiper predicts Sanders will go #1 overall. If Jags have the #1 overall pick, they will trade it.

Yep. No excuse. They're going to finish at 1.1, and you'd better get a deal done with them because they're not dumping Golden Boy. Imo, the Patriots are another possibility , and they're obviously not drafting a QB either with Kraft's long lost son as one of our new minority owners. I don't give a fuck, get that shit done. Primetime 25.
