They do have two firsts.

Think Belichick would give one up for Moss?

Patriots | Team showing interest in R. Moss

John Tomase, of the Boston Herald, reports New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, according to league sources, is enamored with Oakland Raiders WR Randy Moss and would be interested in acquiring the receiver in a trade if the price were right.

In a word?

No.

Just give us pick number 24 and a second rounder next year for pick number 33 and Moss and call it a day already...

Agreed.

With the Jets recent aquisition of Thomas Jones and MArshawn's slight slip due to legal troubles etc...That might be enough ammo to get the RB we need.

I dont anybody who wouldnt be happy with a Russell-Lynch or Quinn-Lynch first day.

The NFL Network reports New England Patriots WR Wes Welker signed a five-year contract with the team. The deal is worth $18.1 million with $10 million guaranteed and not the $38 million that was reported.

That's what I'm talking about.

I'm cool with Hboy's deal, and I wouldn't mind swapping with Cleveland or Tampa. Let them take a WR, we get our QB and RB of the future.

There you go... Trade the #1 to Tampa for their 2nd and Michael Clayton to appease the WR guys, then take Quinn at 4 and then make a small trade up from 24 to get Lynch... :p

Screw the WR guys. Let them go buy Detroit Lions jerseys. I hear there's a sale, buy one Charles Rogers, get a BMW for free.

It's an election year and if I ever want to get elected Grand Poobah of the Water Buffalo Lodge, I'm going to have to be doing some appeasing of the citizens of Bedrock....

Seriously, I'd be happy trading Moss and putting on a claim on Kiffen favorite BMW when/if he's released... I'm also expecting good production from John Madsen as a receiver under Kiffen... This would also seem to be a system that favors a guy with Johnnie Morants size...
