The Not Too Early 2026 NFL Draft Thread

@Chris_77 This kid isn’t the best OL on the Miami O-Line but he may be the most fun to watch play. Their RT Mauigoa is probably a top 10 pick but Bell is actually their LT and man he is huge and looks huge on the field.

Only guy I've watched and liked so far is Mateer. Gives me a Baker Mayfield vibe. I like the sound of Mendoza but haven't watched him yet. I'll keep an eye out for Indiana games now.
Ya Mateer is fun just not sure how he translates. I’m kinda stuck on two guys at this point in time. Mendoza and Moore for QB’s. Still a ways to go but nobody else is standing out in this class to me so thus far.
Maybe Sawyer Robertson ? He may be the guy who creeps up into the conversation soon.

I straight up don't trust this staff with a rookie QB. They're the type to draft a Hurts and try to turn him into a pocket passer. I don't know where that leaves us but unless it's a Burrow level talent, we'd ruin him.

I think we have to stick with this coaching staff for a minute and also Geno ain't it.
Hopefully we can take someone and slow roll them with Geno still on the hook for next year.

I’m not too worried about the idea they would turn a mobile QB into a pocket passer. Chip and Pete have allowed their QB’s to be mobile in the past and Chip even went after Vick just to have that type of QB.

We absolutely have to stick with what we have for a few years IMO. This constant turn and burn of the coaching staff will never work. We have to build something that will attract the next HC for the Raiders. We lost out on multiple HC opportunities due to not having a basic infrastructure and a QB that a HC thinks they can work with. Williams, Herbert and Lawrence

So just do what they always do…. Don’t even try for one reason or another. Bah.

If the QB isn't there we need an OT and it looks like a good draft for that.

Solid draft for o-lineman for sure and D line guys. The QBs are a wild card- i think it's better than last year but not as good as prior year. Brady has said he wants rookies to sit. The QB situation IMO comes down to Kelly and whether you trust this offensive staff to develop one.

whether you trust this offensive staff

Do not take your eye off the ball. Quarterback. Do whatever you need to do to take a decent swing. It's never getting better until the Raiders solve this mystery. :(
Won’t be much on the FA market this year that’s for sure. Unless we think Danny Dimes will be “the one” if he’s even available.
