The Not Too Early 2026 NFL Draft Thread

This might be common knowledge, and it might be new information for some of my followers, but generally speaking the more 30 visits a player has pre-draft the more questions there are about that player.
There also must be interest, otherwise answers would not matter.

Some teams use it to get the measure of a guy in house and see how he meshes for a day or two with coaches and decision makers.

I think it’s Carolina or another team that almost exclusively pulls from their 30 visits.

Would really simplify the lil Al.

Only 4 out of 11 last year (Jeanty, Rogers, Grant and Miller). Not insignificant but still leaves mostly guess work.

Tanking/rebuilding Mia reportedly is open to trading their second 1st round pick for more draft capital. If OT7 or Boston fell to 1.30, an even trade would be:
  • 1.30 + 7.227 —> 621 points
  • 2.36 + 4.117 + 5.175 —> 621.4

Seahawks at 1.32 currently only have 4 draft picks… 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th rounders. Probably will look to move down to add picks. With 3 4th rounders right now, Spy could likely get a move to 1.32 with 2.36 + 4.117 if someone slips that he’s interested in and worried that the player won’t make it to 36.

Not against trading up this year and adding as much quality instead of quantity. I definitely don't want more than 10 draft picks this year.

Agree. Use one or two of those 4th rounders and get a better player. How many day 3 picks are actually going to impact the lineup?

We still need 24 players to fill our 90 man roster. The more picks you have the more guys you are selecting into that 90 man roster as opposed to hoping guys join your organization via UDFA and competing against 31 other teams. I’ve always viewed 6th and 7th round as priority UDFA’s you don’t want to miss out on. I’m definitely team keep picks and trade down “unless” someone unexpectedly hits a target range. If a guy like Thieneman were to end up in the high 20’s I’d be all over that move up. Great player arguably biggest need on defense.

#RaiderNation — if Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion are both there at No. 36… who are you taking?

The #Raiders hosted #Tennessee Cornerback Colton Hood for a top-30 visit.

Hood is a projected late first round pick.
