The Not Too Early 2025 Draft Thread

Same things were said about a bunch of the guys in last years draft.

Its that time of year.

"Daniels is skinny and refused to weigh in"
"Penix has injury history and had one bad playoff game!"
"Maye had a bad year and makes dumb decisions!"
"Caleb paints his nails"
"JJ never throws a pass"
"Nix is 40 years old"

This is not new shit here hahaha.

Allar anyone? Draft one of the freak WRs in first round and then Allar low 1st or 2nd round?

Trigger alert: I’m not advocating it

RISING 2025 NFL DRAFT PROSPECT AT EACH POSITION

DREW ALLAR, QB, PENN STATE Penn State Nittany Lions logo

Stats: 187/259, 72.2% completion, 2,497 yards, 17 TDs, 5 INTs

The improvements across all of Drew Allar's advanced stats aren't huge, but they are significant in the aggregate.

Allar was already a statistically efficient starter in 2023 beyond his 59.5 percent completion rate, and it was impressive given Penn State's lack of weapons around him.

However, this year has combined the best of Allar's immense physical traits with a play style that reflects a high-IQ approach.

Blessed with a cannon for an arm and quality athleticism for being 6-foot-5 and 235 pounds,

Allar is experienced under center and operating traditional passing concepts. He avoids mistakes as well as anyone in the nation, boasting stellar marks in throwing turnover-worthy rate (1.1 percent) and pressure to sack rate (11.7 percent). It's not hard to see Allar having a Bo Nix-esque path in the NFL.

The difference is that Allar is even more physically gifted than Nix and a little more aggressive.

We'd like to see Allar go to an offensive scheme and surrounding cast that offers more reprieve than Penn State's, where he only has Tyler Warren to trust.

Allar should garner serious first-round consideration for his tools and penchant for sustaining a productive and efficient offense.

To be fair, Caleb has definitely played like a dude that paints his nails.

I don’t believe it about Sanders though. He seems like a guy that offensive coordinators would love.

He's showing flashes. Honestly I think there is some shit to work with there.

He aint done yet.

If we quit the bullshit and reflect this is literally the time of year where we have talked ourselves out of every possible QB option even remotely on anyones radar.

We kinda used Carr as a reason for 5-7 years or draft value not matching the prospect or O'Connell deserving a shot (God some people are retarded) or waiting until the next year etc. Or the QB prospect might be injured/we cant develop him or the cost to move up is too much.

I think its roughly 7-12 years if we click back on the previous threads.

All the reasons not to pick a guy are posted. If you look for them they are out there.

Might as well wait until 2028. Just to be safe.

That 2nd half he was a stud. 1st half was rough. He’s shown he can bounce back from bad plays or drives and still put together good games, which is an attribute I like to see. Curious to see how he does with Eberfluss gone.

Kinda feels like you’re shoehorning this rant in here a little bit. Unless I missed something, nobody is out on these QBs.
