The Not Too Early 2025 Draft Thread

Cade Klubnik deserved to get talked about as well here. He might be a late riser, he's been balling out. Only 21 years old too.

I do. Primarily because I'm iffy on Sanders leadership qualities, whereas Milroe is talked about highly as a leader. I'd be comfortable taking Ward/Milroe/Sanders in the top 10. Nuss I'd take somewhere in the mid-late 1st and not blink an eye about it, but I have a feeling he's not going to come out this year and will stay in college one more year.

Rourke I have as a 2nd round guy right now, ahead of guys like Beck/Ewers.
Got it. Thanks.

I have not been following Sanders.

Man, his attitude must be really bad.

If we cheered for the "anybody but Las Vegas" NFL team I would have Shadeur higher.

There is just no functional way that we can make that fit work lol.

Too many good things have to happen to us for him to be successful. (New coach, an OC with a brain, a stable off field leadership group to keep him from racing Corvettes, a running game that can support him an offensive line that can keep him upright so he doesnt bitch every week while playing Call of Duty on twitch, weapons that he wont bitch about and someone to make Deion STFU).

There is no fuckin way we get that lucky lmfao.

Deion would have him demanding a trade by November 2025 and thats if he allowed him to play in Vegas...

My biggest question about him is how he can handle not being a star. I see a potentially good starting QB but not a dude that’s going to be in the Mahomes/etc. stratosphere. That seems like something that would fuck with his head.

Watching Nussmier stuff now. He’s kind of a freak throwing the football. Reminds me of Penix. He’s my early QB 3 with room to grow.

I think all the talk about his personality stems from him publicly throwing some team mates under the bus. Then you have his dad and his personality which unfortunately comes with the kid like it or not. I don't think we've heard anything else about him having a "bad attitude". Brady talking about him last year: "It was amazing to watch," Brady said. "I'm so proud of him, just watching him grow and mature. We all start at a certain place, and he had a lot of high expectations, and he's embraced it. I love him, and it just makes me proud to see what he's doing."

Kinda sounds like our minority owner is in if we get the chance.

His Nebraska post game was unsavory.

Check this out. Not sure who this guy is.

But he's high on Milroe, not on Nussmeier or Ewers

Perfect fit? C'mon Mel...

Six months from now, the Raiders are practically a lock to draft a quarterback and ESPN’s Mel Kiper already has one picked out.

Kiper says Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders shares characteristics with Tom Brady and believes the pairing in Las Vegas would be a good one.

From Kiper in an ESPN Plus piece this week

Trouble is that this organization does it all wrong.

Instead of finding the right fit at GM and have him choose the HC who checks all the boxes we have the idiot owner hiring the HC and telling the new GM to make it work. Is it any wonder we’ve been shit for the better part of 35 years?

Unless we start operating like a real business model for professional football expect more of the same results. Maxx Crosby will be retired before this team is worth a damn.

In every successful business things almost always start at the top. Davis has so much money now he built a $14 million house and doesn’t care a lick if the Raiders are winning or how the experience is for the team’s fans. The stadium is full even though it’s half full of opposing fans and that’s all he cares about.

Don’t even bother defending that fool.

There’s also that clip of him talking shit to Cam Ward (?) at that camp. I it’s pretty well established that he’s a dickhead. Beggars can’t be choosers though. Maybe a pro training camp will humble him a little bit.

Primetime said it was fine though. Needed to get some stuff checked out.

He also slapped his LT upside the head in that game after he gave up a sack lol.

I'm sure Antonio Pierce can get him in line though. Violence, Ferocity and punishment or whatever the new slogan is.

Ah well I guess I’m not up to speed on all the well documented concerns. He does play football better than the other guys though. I wonder if this stuff will really damage his draft stock. A little surprising that his daddy doesn’t set him straight.
