The Not Too Early 2025 Draft Thread

I'm all for that...but I don't think Glaze can play Guard so we still have a gaping hole there.
Yeah I wasn't really sure about that either. Part of why my original take early was take the generational running back and draft a guard in round 2.
Most draftnicks projected Glade would move inside. He’s built like an OG (6’4”/315 lbs) other than his long arms (34.875”). Zeirline wrote: “A move to guard might give him the best chance to become an NFL starter in the future.”

TDN wrote: “The most consistent path to snaps could come at guard due to lack of high-end athleticism but I currently have zero concerns if an organization throws him at tackle early in his career.”

Steeler Depot was one of the few who like Glaze as a 3rd round OT prospect; but due to his versatility, they, too, acknowledged that a move inside might be in Glaze’s NFL future.

It's the only draft material I buy every year, a whopping $2 for the month to read as much of The Beast as I can. If anyone else wants to take a look the password for the PDF is below, use as you wish.

Pre-draft, he was viewed as a potential guard conversion, I think. Whether or not he can do it, I don't know. But the idea isn't out of left field.

Yeah. That.

Mo Collins was a first rounder picked as a tackle(jumped ahead of the 9ers if I remember correctly)... so if Armand Assante turned into a dominant guard as part of a dominant inside O-line its not a bad consolation..

Don’t care who we pick or position they are. Just get a guy who earns a second contract by actually being good at what he does.
