What Qb's below the Quinn's and Russell's do covet as high potential to be successful? Just curious as to who people are high on in that group..

I like Stanton the best.

Size, mobility, arm, lots of grit, a good character guy...

He has the most upside, but he is super inconsistent.

Stanton is the immediate 2nd tier guy in my mind, with the 3rd tier prospects all lumped together.. Beck, Kolb, etc.

The guy I don't get is Edwards. I really, really don't understand why he is rated above the 3rd tier group, if that.

Kolb for sure.

But I'd loooove to take Stanback as our Brad Smith-Slash-type guy.

What do you guys think about that Palko kid? Seems gritty and determined, even if not a 'prototypical qb'. Reminds me a bit of Gannon, actually.

Palko is a bum, IMO.

He's undersized, and not super athletic. His accuracy is spott and he has an ugly motion and footwork, and I think his arm strength is mediocre.

6th rounder...

Someone mentioned him to me, and gave me some clips to watch.. seems pretty athletic to me?

Palko hurdles Pac Man Jones, lowers his shoulder on another defender and keeps on truckin'

Palko lowers the boom on defender

I hadn't heard of the kid before, but watching some of his clips, he reminded me of a young Rich Gannon kind of player. Very athletic, gritty, but not pretty.. ugly mechanics and delivery.

I mean, he did throw for nearly 3000 yards, 25 TDs and only 9 INTs this last year, with a completion percentage over 68%...

I think Palko is ok if you want to take a late day 2 shot at a QB.
