I'd rather use Whitted's valuable roster spot on a ST gamer. We've got the quick twitch guy now in Higgins but I think Natty's right. He's on Al's good side and will unfortunately make the 53 man roster:rolleyes:

I think it was Oregon State and they kept showing that replay again and again. It certainly was a great catch.

I was a big fan of Williams coming out of USC, but he needs to realise that this is his second chance and he needs to grab it. I think it might take sometime to get him to where we need him to be. I am hoping he can become more of a factor as the season progresses.
 
I remember Williams actually caught that ball one handed intentionally, saying something like he wanted to put on a little show for the fans. I guess that says something about his lack of maturity, but it was a few years ago, and he's obviously got ridiculous ability.

I like the Plaxico comparison, personally. I'm excited to see what Kiffin's got in store for us.

I'm one of the few NFL fans who thinks Plax is a legit bad-ass. If we just got the second coming of Plax for 1/2 of a 4th, we robbed a bank.

Wait Ring, I live in the burgh and let me tell you, Plax has Talent, but he isn't near as talented as a Moss who we had to put up with for two year of him crying and slacking.......
Now I do think Sapp would slap him in the head if Plax was talking trash so that may be a good thing. He just isn't smart (remember the fumble when he wasn't touched)There is no way I want him anywhere near our locker room. He takes plays off and won't work to block unless the block is on his side. I think Porter is more talented and works harder then plax and he is less then a pain in the ass........I want guys with hussle not lazy mouthy jag-offs....we have one or two of them now.

Pretty damn good for someone who's lazy, stupid and fumbles all the time (paraphrasing your words).

This dude is bigger and better than Porter IMO. The attitude is about the same.

Plax is the reason Manning looked good in his first full season.
 
Have to agree with the RHC. Plax is a gamer and is about the only reason that Manning has looked good in spurts.

On the other hand, how many games did Porter miss last season for being a foolish dickhead?

And don't give me the whole "shell was an idiot" thing. That goes without saying.

But Porter outdid himself in the asshole category and rode the aluminum for it. He was right, but he went about it the wrong way. So did Shell.

that is my point we have one asshole and that is enough.....with two assholes you get what we had last year. Besides, Porter wants to be the man here. He needs the warm fuzzies and bringing in a Plax wouldn't help him either............Don't get me wrong he can play, when he plays is all I am saying and I think we just traded someone like that.......
Besides I want Curry & Porter to Start, I think they each have something to prove and can be a dangerous duo in there. I think we have enough WR's BMW and Gab, (if he makes the cut can fill out the line up. I saw Francis was hurt again already he is as good as gone.

Nobody's saying we should trade for Plax. Someone compared BMW to Plax from a size and athleticism standpoint. My comment was that if BMW come close to Plax's production we got a great deal.
 
Even though Porter was a dickhead I'm wiping the salte clean with this fool.

He better come in ready to play up to his potential. If he doesn't there is nobody to blame this time but Porter himself. He's got a high opinion of himself and runs his mouth a lot about how good he is. Let's see it.

I'm kinda in Stepper's corner...this guy produces 990 yards and 8-10 TD's and I'm not splitting hairs about his production.
 
PLax pulls a Mandy Moss when he isnt interested and alligator arms balls and jog's around and shit. He has serious talent and size, but he is another cancerous asshole, thats why Pitt dumped his ass and Manning cant get along well with him. Manning tries to be a leader of that team and gets undercut by Plax, Tiki, and Shockey. At least one of the three is gone. Shockey is on record saying he would rather play for the Eagles.. haha. They blow.
