The Amari Cooper thread

Post of mine pre draft regarding Cooper. Same old issue with Cooper
  1. Cooper had 3 drops vs. LSU then as I was watch the game yesterday, another drop vs MSU. He doesn't look as dominant as Watkins last year. I want a receiver that takes over games and catches the ball 98% of the time. Raiders can't miss on pick. No thank you to Cooper

Did you send that post to Red before the draft?

Might as well shelve Crabtree as well. He wasn't any better...
Crabby is who he is. He torments lesser CBs. However, the best CBs (Sherman, Talib, Peters, Norman) have always, without fail, seem to shut him down--like they do most WRs.

That is why you need Cooper. But history has shown that if you double Cooper, either he's not open or Carr won't though to him, except on a go route. Whether it Carr's accuracy or Cooper's drops, there is no go-to Montana (or Young or Gannon) to Rice on a slant connection. Nor is there any Snake to Freddy or Branch on a come back route, which was money. Very sad about that there is no bread-and-butter play for Carr and Cooper.

Cooper has earned no trust. All he does is drop key passes. He's Ricky Dudley straight up. The Redskins bent the Raiders over a stump and dry fucked them.

I can't imagine Carr and co doing any better against a vastly superior Denver defense. Washington is a sham of a team and they embarrassed the over confident full of shit Raiders.

If the Raiders miss the playoffs I hope its by a lot so they can get a decent draft.

Penn needs to give us a refund he was complete shit tonight. KO as well fucking punk bitch getting driven back.

The Redskins are a joke we had zero excuses for losing to them. Typical Raiders can't take advantage of a Denver loss and get some separation. Fucking frustrating

The guy is really frustrating to watch. Seems like all his drops have come at a critical juncture. The one drop last night was when we were trying to climb back in this thing and a first down might have jump started the offense at that point. If Coop doesn't get into the game from the get go, he's pretty much useless the rest of the way.

I'm real leery of giving him a huge contract extension until he can show some consistency in his play. He shows up one week and then is MIA the next couple of weeks. He's a long way from being an elite receiver in this league, and frankly with his hands, I seriously have my doubts.

Remember that perfect pass in the Bucs game that would have won the game and Coop dropped it?.. Carr laid it right in his basket and we had to go to OT to win that game... Coops dropped some big time balls.. he's gotta do a better job at catching

I knew we should have traded up to get Sammy Watkins.
