4 out of 10 pressures from KC
2 out of 4 sacks from KC

Had 3 pressures and 1 sack from the previous 2 games combined (Hou, NYG)
You guys crack me up. Why don’t you just say small sample size? Trying to downgrade his 4 sacks by claiming he’s lucky is silly, as if no other rookie DT “lucked” into any sacks.

15 DT were drafted before Hemingway and 1 drafted in R4 after him. In total, those 16 DT logged 2,843 pass snaps, 16.5 sacks and 173 pressures—or 178/1/11 each compared to Hemingway’s 110/4/10.

5 DT were drafted last year in R1. In total, those 5 DT logged 1,316 pass snaps, 8 sacks and 91 pressures—or 263/1.3/11.4 each compared to Hemingway’s 110/4/10.

Its laughable because only 2 of the other 16 DT even had 3 or 3.5 sacks. Even if you throw out 2 of Hemingway’s 4 sacks, he still has the 2nd highest sack percentage.

K. Turner’s sack/pressure rates:
  • RY: 2.0%/8.3%
  • 3Y: 1.7%/9.2%
Hemingway’s sack/pressure rates:
*2 sacks moved to 2 pressures

One of SpyGuy’s trait picks (9.46 RAS/33” arms) is bound to work out. K. Turner had only 2 sacks his only year in the ACC at Wake Forest. Hemingway logged 4 sacks twice against SEC competition.

On the #Raiders switch to a 3-4 defense...

Rob Leonard says it's not nearly as dramatic as people think.

In fact, he basically confirmed what we've been telling you for months.

So what does it actually mean for the defense?

Skepticism tends to congregate when nearly all his production occurred against the Giants and the Chiefs' Family Dollar squad. The Raiders recorded eight sacks against KC. 7.5 of those sacks are gone. 0.5 (Koonce) remain.

Hemingway’s played 184 total snaps. Skepticism is fine.

NT are players too!
  • Tasi
  • Jones
  • Cleveland
  • Smith

We're not counting Pegues anymore?
Pegues was already on the D. He’s also is more versatile!

Also waiting for confirmation whether he’s trimmed down (or another Jones). Regardless, he seems like more of a penetrator than a block swallower.

If the Knicks can go from 25 year laughingstocks, to the most dominant team in the NBA then maybe there’s hope for us yet.
