Steelers Week!

Unless we're bringing in some solid IOL and IDL I don't see us winning much this season. Denver and Buff stuffed our run game. Don't give me the JJ was rusty BS. He we hit 3-4 yards in backfield multiple times, it was sad to watch how bad our OL is.
Yeah JJ isn't the problem. OL looks like dog doo.

You are savvy

When you watch the lines, you will see their ineffectiveness.

Offensive line= no push
Defensive line = no pass rush or strength vs run

Jacobs is getting hit early and often (see first carry as example yesterday)

Teams are loading the box and offensive line cannot move them.

Watt's gonna destroy this offense

All their guys swarm to the ball. Just very aggressive play calling. We will never see that. Josh better figure out how to slow down their pass rush or it's going to be a very long night for JG and the offense.

KMiller should be able to handle Highsmith, but yes, better have a plan to control TJWatt that is more than just asking one of the RTs to take care of him…
Should be an interesting game. Pitt is not good. Their O is meh at best with poor running game and not much other than the Pickett-Pickens connection to worry about. Their D front 7 looks pretty good but the secondary is meh other than Fitzpatrick. And coming off a late Monday night game and traveling west where Steelers haven’t typically done well are added advantages.

Sort of an early measuring stick game… Raiders are 1-1 in opening two road games, but squeaked out a W against a really bad team and was uncompetitive against a top echelon team that is particularly tough at home. W here could provide some hope for improvement, but L probably indicates a very long season…

My theory is that we signed Van Roten, then cut Alex Bars, then started Van Roten.
