APM is the second? I wonder if this is a case of Generation Z being “ironic”?

The Phantom Menace has young Anakin and Maul, both of whom are probably as prominent if not more in the franchise than the original trilogy characters. It'll get canceled for Padme grooming Anakin soon enough though.

Half the budget of the Solo movie though. If it does similar numbers, it would be a success financially.

A New Hope being #1 is no surprise. Empire not being in the top 3, on the other hand... :wtf1:
ANH and TPM are feel-good movies. They both end on a triumphant note and good movies to load up after a rough day. Empire is bittersweet.

RO has that fan-service Vader scene.

They are also both entry points into the franchise, depending on which chronology you use.

TPM is bottom two for me personally but I'd guess it's probably more relevant for any fan that grew up watching The Clone Wars, Rebels, etc.

Rogue One is usually acknowledged as one of the better all around Star Wars movies.

Good point.

I enjoyed Rogue One. One of the fewest movies I saw twice in theaters, though, the Vader scene was gratuitous.

I can rewatch Rogue One and Solo. If I never see the Sequel Trilogy again, I lived a good life.

The Vader scene was amazing.

I've rewatched all of them at some point or another. I think the Rian Johnson was my least favorite but it's probably at toss up with TPM. Filoni did good work filling in a lot of the gaps in the prequels with his animated shows.

While I loved the scene for its chaos and action, it was irritating because it immediately leads into Episode IV, where he was very stiff with his actions.

So you're saying Disney should remake Episode IV (again) and decanonize the original? Hot take, little green dude.

That's just the evolution of film. Can't be mad at that, IMO.

It would be silly to make the scene worse just for the sake of matching it up with a film that was 40ish years old at the time.

Of all the rando things that have irritated me, it's fat Thrawn.
