Oscar Isaac reveals that the “somehow Palpatine returned” scene in THE RISE OF SKYWALKER’ was filmed during reshoots.

“That was a new addition right at the end… hey man I committed to the exasperation that’s for sure.”

Doesn't sound like it's expected to do very well. Still could, but I'm not optimistic.

It might be ok if one frames their expectations appropriately but even the timing is weird.

Why not just hustle a little and get it out for May 4th?

I expect they're just hoping to keep the puppet on the radar enough to keep the merch dollars flowing.

The budget was low comparatively so it doesn't have to be a hit, but they can't afford another flop either.

It's only a "vocal minority" who thinks recent Star Wars projects aren't good. No worries.
 
The last two episodes of Maul are pretty sweet. Overall, a pretty solid show.

I'm debating cheating and watching before my kid gets home but I've enjoyed it quite a bit. They do animation well for the most part. I'm wondering if we ever get an animated Luke series.
