ROTJ was just as good as ESB. ESB's "darkness" is overhyped. At best, it ends in a draw. Luke escaped Vader, the Rebels were already fleeing Hoth, and the group escaped Cloud City. Han was frozen but that mattered nothing to the Empire.

The final three-way battle in ROTJ combined with the theological battle between Luke and the Emperor is absolutely amazing cinema

The original trilogy was perfect.
fuck you. You probably have Ewok dolls snd shit. :D

I like Jedi. The OT are far and away the three best SW movies. But Jedi is firmly #3.

I know my opinion is in the minority. But ROTJ and The Last Crusade are my favorites of their respective trilogies. Their themes resonate more with me.

I don't expect most to agree and that is OK.

It did give us as close to we got to final form Luke.
Took me way too many years to realize he was force choking the pig people. I don't know what it was I thought he was doing, but he wasn't holding his hand right for it to look like a choke. I guess that's how powerful he was. He could choke you with an open hand at long distance.

Mando season 2 warrants mention, I think. That "like my father before me" hallway ass whoopin' was pretty sweet.

Yeahโ€ฆ if weโ€™re talking about best all time SWโ€™s moments, that scene and Vaderโ€™s rampage at the end of Rogue One are up there with anything from the OT. Iโ€™d put the final scene from Clone Wars there too. About as emotional as you can get from animation. Of course, I do love the Vader without the suit march to the temple scene from RoTS too. Sith is underrated IMO.

Raiders is the perfect movie. I love Sean Connery, but Crusade was too much of a buddy comedy for me.
