Yeah he still gets royalties. Supposedly he's made more after the sale than he did on the actual purchase.

ROTJ was just as good as ESB. ESB's "darkness" is overhyped. At best, it ends in a draw. Luke escaped Vader, the Rebels were already fleeing Hoth, and the group escaped Cloud City. Han was frozen but that mattered nothing to the Empire.

The final three-way battle in ROTJ combined with the theological battle between Luke and the Emperor is absolutely amazing cinema

The original trilogy was perfect.
