So, what the hell happened with this site?

Well here is what happened if you really want to know.

The hosting company I had hooked up with went down about a month and a half ago -- for about two days. I was told that there was a "misunderstanding" about payment to the data etner and that all was well now.

So the day after the Denver game (Monday) I was in Oakland and logged on to see what was up -- WOW like 14 new posts! :D By the time I got back home on the airplane the site was down and I never got word what was up for three days until I found this on the hosting company's web site. Then about two days later I received a "cancellation" for future payments. So being a bright guy I figured that's that.

So to make a long story short I had to find a new hosting company and now I think I have one of the best of all time. They have been great.

Because I am a dummy and didn't backup the actual site files I only had a database backup that wasn't complete. So I reinstalled the forum and used the data I had. We lost a few posts (about 50 or 60) and a couple of members who had signed up.

I have to still reinstall the portal and then I'm done screwing around with this thing for a while. Until then the forum is up and functioning. If you see anything that looks weird, please let me know and I'll get tif fixed.

Anyway, that's the story. We should be stable and good to go now!

Thank God that site is back. I was going to jumpstart the site with some football topics, but then I found out that the site was down and something. I know I haven't post much here, but right now my mind is on the NBA. I am a huge basketball freak so I haven't paid much attention to the NFL. I am glad it's on though because I plan on having lot to say with the Vikings, Herm Edwards, and the NFL all day today.

When I read stuff like this, it goes to show you how thankful I am with the work of adminstrators when they run message boards and all. There is this message board for diehard MN Sports fans and it would kill me if that board dies because of poor management and such. Fortunately, that adminstrator is pretty darn good at what he does and that board has been successful because of his work.

Oh come on CB...Tell the truth..

You were soooo upset by the Broncos victory over your precious little raiders, that you shut the whole board down. Now that you've had several very difficult sessions of depression counselling, you decided that the healthy thing would be to re-install the board, sans all the posts that were taunting to you because of the fact that the Broncos had beat the Raiders again ;)

And now, as punishment, to me as a Broncos fan, you're making me help you reinstall everything & trying to whip me around like the slave-driver you are! ;)
