I love football. All football in general, Raiders football in particular.

However, I am about to stop watching MNF based on the fact that I cannot stand that crew. I can't. It makes me mental. And the tragedy of it all is that Suzy Kolber is five THOUSAND times better than Tony Cornholio, and she's patrolling the sidelines.

I can't take it.

I don't like the guest segments, it detracts from the game and furthers my hatred of Kornhole. Hey Carolina is worse than us on 3rd down conversions, go figure. I also figured that LJ leveling Al Wilson would be conveniently overlooked for the "jacked up" segment. Man I hate those turds.

I totally agree... In fact, all women should boycott wearing bras till they make a change...

Dick Vermeil rocks as a commentator IMO... they should move his crew up to the #1 spot....

YOU, shut up! Should I start calling you Mr. Namath?

I like Gannon as a commentator and I can live with Troy Aikman, too. The prime time crews are all horrible.

I can't think of a single crew that I really like but, yeah, this MNF crew is pretty horrible.

And who the hell thought a bunch of cross promotion was a good thing? Do they not know the football demographic at all? Do they think I give a damn about Christian Slater or Jeff Gordon or baseball updates while I'm trying to watch the game? Hell, I get irritated when the waitress bringing me beer walks in front of the screen for a half-second!

And you wonder why I'm watching WWE right now? Do the math.

What I REALLY hate is Tony asking the painfully obvious kind of questions. "If they cross that imaginary yellow line, it's a first down, right?" Then, he'll turn around and act like an expert about the officiating.

Well, that and I'm still mad at him for calling the Raiders the "most classless organization in the NFL" last week. Bastard.

There was a Raider dig in there at the beginning of the game, I think about Carolina's 3rd down conversion rate being worse than ours. I can't wait for NFL Network to start telecasting some of these prime time games.

Man I wish Moss had a tenth of the intensity and effort that Steve Smith has. I love that guy. Talks a lot of shit but backs it up 100%

John Fox better get his stuff together... With all that talent on their roster, they have no business being a .500 team...

One thing I will say about that division... I wasn't exactly enthralled when Sean Payton was rumored to be our head coach at one point a few years back, but I was wrong... I came away very impressed with the design of the Saints offense and what he does to free up the passing game... Drew Brees is looking an awful like Rich Gannon...

Gannon has had some kind things to say about Brees. I would've been in favor of having Brees come to Oakland last year, for sure, concerns about his shoulder aside.

Wait a second...Did you just say you were wrong?

Yeah, I Fonzied it out somehow... and I was on the Drew Brees bandwagon all along... I was just messing around with all those lawn gnome rips... yeah, that's it..

The one plus about Kornheiser is that he's really photogenic :D

That DeWayne White is a free agent. I got a feeling we go after him if Tampa doesn't extend him before free agency starts. We'll do anything to irritate Bruce Allen.

well, dont think jon gruden be their hc much longer, 90% of buc fans want jon fired. they realize now why raider fans were glad to see him gone.

I like gannon as a commentator too tommygirl, he is atleast fair when it comes to his old team

i dont mind tirico... i could live with a tirico, gannon, vermiel MNF crew

That right there is the best team you could assemble right now for MNF.

Two good analysts and a solid color guy. Perfect.

No comedic relief, irritating asshole either.

I am 100% in agreement TG. I don't watch much MNF anymore for exactly those reasons. The "show" is bigger than the "game" now.

The NFL has gone corporate, far beyond where a sporting league should be. The so called genius coaches, Shanahan and Gruden, will keep players on the field in an effort to win, even though that action costs the players their careers or nearly their lives. The league has no problem with that, but if a player has a sock fall down, then it's time to convene the judiciary council and dole out punishment.

The game is moving down the slippery slope from a sporting contest to sports-entertainment. Style points awarded by a panel of celebrity judges, plays sent in by on-line fan voting (only $2.50 per call)

If I wanted to watch Entertainment Tonite ( I don't), then I would. I want to watch football. Is that too much to ask for?

Did you see the Raider game earlier in the year when it had Vermiel and Jaworski...

Best announced game of the year IMO
