What are your all-time favorites?

Mine are the following:

Cheers (the first five seasons are some of the greatest comedy/romantic tension scenes. Plus, Cliff Calvin.)

MASH (first three seasons are marvelous comedy)

Hogan's Heroes (Perfect cast in every role. The comedy never fails.)

Gilligan's Island (escapism at its most exotic. Ginger or Mary Ann is a question that Aristotle can't answer)

Frasier (expertly written. Even the dog was his own character.)

Andy Griffith Show (First five seasons are classic TV.)

The Middle (the rare modern sitcom that isn't trash. It has heart and laughs.)

Everybody Loves Raymond (Family dynamics at their most dysfunctional and hilarious)

that is easily answered

Cheers is probably the GOAT sitcom for me.

Married With Children has to get a nod.

Honestly Modern Family and The Office probably should be in there but they’re missing that golden age nostalgia factor.

Family Ties, Who’s the Boss, etc. were on rotation back in the day.

All In The Family was before my time but it’s still hilarious.

I am rewatching Cheers. The show's tone definitely shifted quickly from Season 5 to Season 6. I still enjoy it but I miss Diane more than I remember. Rebecca is hilarious but Woody has been flanderized.

Never watched any of those shows other than All in the Family.

Forgot to mention the Golden Girls. Hilarious stuff.

Honeymooners belongs on the list.

Agreed. Classic work.

I liked the original The Office with Ricky Gervais
Afterlife is fantastic too.

Watched All in the Family and Sanford and Son. Since my Dad loved them.

We liked The Jeffersons too.

I watched MASH all the way to the end. One of my favorites.

Cheers was great. Toward the end of the Diane era it got forced and just weird.

Anyone remember Night Court? Maybe not Top 10 but damn funny.

Night Court was an all time great.

After The Jeffersons, Sherm had a series called Amen. It was really good. Used to watch that and 227 with my grandmother.

Taxi was fantastic. Can't leave it out.

Loved Taxi.

Someone mentioned Fraser.

My wife mentioned Friends.

I wasn't around and never saw The Honeymooners. Or very little.

I can remember watching lots of Gilligan's Island and Hogan's Heroes reruns. Liked them. Not sure if they're iconic.

Good call on Taxi and I used to watch those same shows with my grandparents.
