In an attempt to show the Vikings up, they signed Nate Burelson to an insane contract just to teach the Vikings a lesson for taking Hutchinson. God that's freaking funny. Let's see. Burelson did nothing last year and he benefitted from playing with a healthy Daunte Culepper two years ago. He wasn't even going to be in the Vikings plans in 2006 with Koren being the #1 receiver and Troy Williamson being the #2 receiver.

Tim Ruskell is pretty darn good at what he does. WTF was he thinking signing Nate for that crazy contract? There is no way Tim would do that. Something tell me Paul Allen wanted this one just to show Zygi Wilf something.

Paul Allen sure showed Zygi, eh. :D

This is HORRIBLE!

OK, this "poision pill" thing is out of hand. Now I understand the Pats are contemplating a contract for Seattle's kicker that would contain a clause in it saying something like "if the kicker plays X games in the state of Washington..."

How silly is this? The precedent is a nightmare for the league. Is it possible for the NFL to change something to stop this childish behavior or does the CBA preclude andy adjustments? Anybody know?
