Sapp having a great year!

They should also start Turdell Sands ahead of him, but I've been saying that for 2 years. What the hell do I know, right?
 
Honestly, they should leave Sapp where he is and start Terd ahead of TK, but that's just my opinion. Then they ought to start TK ahead of Brayton. Again, just my opinion.

As for Sapp, though, he was also having a very good year last year before he got hurt... though I will say that having Burgess on the end is a good thing for Sapp's career at this point.

After years of disliking Sapp, I've become very comfortable with the fact that he's one of those guys that you hate on the other team... but love on yours. I really, really like having Warren on our side.

I acutally agree with everything you've said here. Our pass rush was better with Kelly collapsing the pocket from the left side and Burgess slicing & dicing from the right side. The problem is that we commited to Kelly at DT and only retained Antajj Hawthorne as the other b/u DT. I've never liked that decision, but what can you do? I will say that Kelly had a pretty disruptive game at DT yesterday however.

I only say start Sapp, because that would reduce his reps and pounding against the run. Then again, certain players need a lot reps to "get a feel" for the game and perhaps Sapp is one of those. I like this guy too. I'd love to see him work for the Raiders down the road. The man has really turned into a good player and solid citizen. That's all you can ask from anyone.
