It'll be televised on local channel 2, so those of us outside the Bay area will probably be able to watch on Sopcast and TVU. Soon as anyone knows when the replay is, let us know.

What are you looking for in this second game?

This'll be the last week with TC reports, as the Raiders break camp before the game, so we won't get too many more first-hand reports, so we'll be relying on the last two preseason games to see how people are doing. Bummer.

I am glad we are facing a 3-4 team. It'll be very interesting to see how the revamped line handles the different look, and the blitzes coming from different spots. Specifically, how Sims and Green handle Lawson. We've got Merriman twice this year, it's nice to play against the 3-4. I know Arizona supposedly plays the 3-4, but SF is more of a true 3-4.

Moses and Huntley. A platoon seems to be the obvious answer right now.

Stopping the inside run. No Gore, so we'll see if the Raiders can shut down the run.

Cornerbacks. Routt, Bowie, and to a lesser extent, Cole and Carr. I'd like to be able to evaluate CB's that actually have a chance of playing.

The QB's. I am looking to see less sloppy play from McCown and CPepp.

Mario Henderson. Hope he gets a lot of work again, at both LT and RT.

It appears the game on Saturday at 7:00 pm will be on KPIX Channel 5 and KTVU Channel 2 in the bay area. It appears that it will be replayed later on Saturday on KICU Channel 6 in the bay area at 10:00 pm.

On Sunday it will be replayed on CW, Channel 12 in the bay area at 1:00 pm.

I would like to see McCown work more with the First team, and Mario to start at RT.

I would like to see Dominic and Jordon back there every other down.
See some more passes thrown to the following Miller and Morant

My number one wish is to keep Whiteds stats the same as the first game......#-0 YRDS-0 AVG-0 LG-0 TD's-0

Oh yeah Have Russell start the Second half.....hopefully he is in soon.

AND NO INJURIES!!!!!

For me, I would like to see Walter get the start since he performed the best in the last game. It sends a good message to reward a player like that.

I tend to get attached to players who, after reading their bios, seem like good guys, work hard, and never complain. So, I am interested in seeing Adkisson and Buchanon and more of O'Neal.

I am also interested in Carlos Francis although he may not even make the team. Since his career has been one big mess so far, I would at least like to see what he brings.

Morant the veteran, Mandu, and BJ Ward but those everyone will be watching also.

The other stuff I also have an interest much like the rest of you.

I would like to see Walter get a lot of playing time because I'm a shameless (and admitted) Walter homer.

I also want to see more of Justin Griffith.

The rest is an echo of what AP wrote.

I hate Andrew Walter.

So, I'd like to see him start. He looked the best of the QB's IMO...*scary* but if the guy can step up I really don't care. I'll like him again.

Why don't you like Andrew Walter? :shakehead:

Hahahaha...Teeg reported my post. :rotf:

I've told you before I think he's a slug with zero personality. But if he plays well and helps us win I'm back in his corner. Otherwise screw him. :D

Ooooohhhhhh. I thought you said that it was because his ass didn't meet your "cute ass" standards in his football uni. Stop changing your mind on it!!

It seems that Marquis Cole was getting some nice mention in the articles but when the depth charts came out, almost immediately he had a couple of bad mentions in the articles...almost like his bubble had burst when he saw it. Still a kid a like.

I agree.

I might have to repeat a few hundred more times that Marquice Cole was my dark horse pick to make the roster.

As far as the San Fran game:

*I want to see intensity in special teams. Good coverage etc.

* I want one of Huntley-Moses-Richardson to emerge as a starter caliber opposite of Burgess...Rome wasnt built in a day though.

* I want to see Zach Miller catch some passes, and Madsen get involved.

*Lastly, I would love to see Henderson on the first team playing RT.

Porter's hands looked suspect against the Cards. He needs more reps, I'm thinking.

Gallery needs some reps outside, while Grove could use a few looks at guard.

More Walter. Kid looked ready.

More reps for the rooks.

Keep the TEs active. We're going to need them this year.

More blitzing. Loved all the blitzing we did.

Playing LBs at DE was fun too. We should do more of that.

Want to see a little more consistency from the QB position. Really would like to see a nice sustained drive from our 1's to open the game. I think Walter deserves the starting nod. It would be nice to see another strong effort from him.

Defensively I'd like to see more of a concerted effort to stop the run. This defense tends to get aggressive and overpursue at times leaving nice open running lanes for the rb. I don't want to see Gore with 65-75 yards on 7-8 carries.

Better tackling by the secondary.

* I want to see the Niners blitz the hell out of us... That's the way we can really get an accurate assessment on the QB's and O-line for that matter...

* I'd like see John Madsen get more looks... He seems to have a real knack for getting open...

* Let's see McQuistan worked in with the 1's at either tackle spot... I was far more impressed with his play than I was with Henderson...

* Better tackling from the secondary... They missed way too many tackles against Arizona...

* The way things are looking with our backup corners, I expect we'll see Huff playing there in nickle situations before long so we may as well get a look at it now...

* I'd like to see Rob Ryan work both Ward and Darius on the field at the same time... Just for kicks, have them each take a hash and blast away...

* Brayton beat up on the Arizona backups pretty good... I'd like to see how he fares against starter quality players...

I want to see walter rewarded for a solid effort along with Echemandu. Gotta see how they fair against Mike Nolans Starters since I have a weird feeling that the SF backups are much worst than the Arizona backups.

Want to see more of Brayton at DT. I felt this was his natural position all along. He kinda defies the laws of a DT because he's tall, Light in weight, and has average lateral movement. But he has some natual motor that comes full force. If he gets cut, we are stupid, just like we were to ever move him from the DT position in the first place. Anyways he'll always be good for a knee to the groin.

I want to see the defensive starters get a little more time.

Want to see Darius actually knock somebody rather than get his face shoved in. Ouch.

I want to see Fb oneal in with the starters. He's not the perfect FB yet, but when he's on, people get knocked on their asses. Reminds me of a Very poor man's Lorenzo neal.

*I wanna see Huff take one to the house, pick 6.
*I also wanna see Mario Henderson at RT
*I cant wait to see DD crush someone(stiff arm is the only way to stop him, that wont happen often)
*I wanna see Stanford Routte get back on the field and take that nickel spot.
*I want BJ Ward to make the team and be our ST captain.

I dont like the fact Stu has beat out Darius

Dont like the fact he's coming in on in a nickle package

Dont like Huff at SS

I dont get why Darius is not our starting SS and Huff as the roaming FS playmaker

Let Stu come in on those nickle jumbo packages

Our FB draftee looked pretty good.. he drilled a couple guys

Like to see him get more playing time

OL, especially Gallery need to work on their low cut blocking skills.. Saw some DL just toss him to the ground and jumped right over him to make the tackle

Other than that...

Cook it up

I think Stu is "cooking it up himself" -- he didn't look very good from all accounts. Another game like that and I think he'll take a seat except when we play that 3 safety 2 LB package. I'm not a Stu fan. He's just a little too average for my tastes. Did we really draft Huff @ number 7 to have him play SS instead of FS where he can be in a better position to make plays like he did in college? :banghead:

I echo what the crazy Hawaiian said....:D

* We have got to see our line and RB's go up against a defense that brings the house. How do we handle the zone blitz and the twisted stunts up the middle?

* Let AWAL play with the ones and or see McCown really turn his game up. If not McCown drops to three and AWAL and Pepp move up. I don't think Kiff takes the patience roll if the other two step up.

* I would like to see Eche get the start to see him against the number ones being that Rhodes is for sure out the first few weeks and we know he's not getting cut.

* Someone step up and take the RT spot. McFugly played well at LT, why not rotate the guy to RT to see if he can challenge Green?

* Get Jay Richardson involved early and see how how holds up against a Jonas Jennings, a Joe Staley etc.

* Mix Brayton in with the ones. The guy is strong as a horse, doesn't have the quicks off the edge as a DE and as a situational DT, the kid is going to be good. He played inside while at Colorado and could be a force with his height and strength on passing downs.

* I would love to see Huff roam and be given the chance to make plays.

I'd like to see:

•Ech against starters to see if he's for real or if this is all a tease. We know what we have in Fargas and Rhodes, more or less.

•McCown to show some poise. I'm not sure who's BETTER, but Walter looked more in control, albeit against backups. He did have the one horrible sack, though, where he just held on to it too long.

•More Big Mike in between the 20s. Is he just going to be a red zone gimmick, or can he contribute in regular situations when he doesn't have to just rely on his height?

•Better tackling from the backup DBs in particular.

•Huntley or Moses to make the decision easy.

•Less of Gabriel returning kicks. Give that a rest already. Find someone else.

•The line to play better. Everyone.
