Ryan Riddle Released

Ekijuiba is more versatile and Thomas has been a great reserve for us, so I say 'nay' on Ryan Riddle.

If we are releasing Adkisson or Randal Williams to get the deal done. Sure.
 
Ricky Brown is pretty worthless as well. Drop his ass and bring back my boy. Our STs need the boost.
 
Listen to Brother Crow. Has looked very good in pre-season and great ST'r. I think he'd also be effective as a situational pass rusher. Cut Randall Williams and bring his ass back.
 
Personally, I cant tell the difference between Ricky Brown and Ryan Riddle. I've watched them both make some tackles in the preseason, and one or two in the regular season kickoff coverage...Big freakin deal.

Both are fringe NFL special teamers (As evidenced by Riddle getting cut twice in two years)

If we are going to sign someone with 3 weeks left, it should be a runningback or o lineman.

Not Ryan 'Cult following' Riddle.
 
You're right. A team with garbage for STs coverage shouldn't dare sign someone who's demonstrated the ability to create turnovers in that capacity. What was I thinking?

I'm only asking, because I'm puzzled as to when Ryan Riddle became a premier special teamer and worthy of a spot on our roster. He generates turnovers? Maybe in college, because I remember him forcing what? One fumble last year

If he gets cut from the Raiders AND the Jets...He blows.

Lets sign a lineman instead.

He was all over the place on STs during the preseason. We have a half dozen people on the roster who have shit to offer. Why not clip one of them and bring in someone who could actually play a role?

I would trade Adkisson and Williams+ Whitted for Riddle.
 
I'd trade those 3 for a spicey chicken sandwich from Popeye's...but that's just me.

adkisson is starting towel boy. unfortunately he takes a roster spot for that position.:confused:
