Ed Bouchette and Gerry Dulac, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, report Pittsburgh Steelers assistant coach Russ Grimm, a finalist for the team's head coaching vacancy, will likely not return to the team. Grimm is expected to be allowed out of his contract with the team.

This guy seems like the real deal to me and one that I'd take a hard look at. Thoughts?

Totally agree,,,,,,I like Grimm he is a old school Pittsburgher born and raised....but if I were the Rooneys I would have hired Tomlin too. The word around here was that Grimm wasn't the hardest worker on Cowhers staff.
He liked his motorcycles and kicking back with his buddys drinking a few beers a little to often. Not that there is anything wrong with that but it doesn't make a good impression when someone wants you to run their mutli-million dollar franchise.
