I was just reading a thread on another board and a poster who lives in Chapel Hill says a friend that works in the football athletic office at UNC told him Butch Davis is going to hire Chuck Pagano as defensive coordinator. Makes a lot of sense as they got a lot of history together at Univ. of Miami and Cleveland. I'm stoked cause this should obviously lead to the promotion of Lorenzo Ward to DB coach. I just don't think its a coincidence that Aso and Fabian turn into ball hawks the year Ward joins the team as an assistant to the DB coach.

well it might be slight coincidence. Last year Woodson was injured, gibson was pussy, Fabian was a rookie, Stuart wasnt as good at reading plays as he has been this year and the pass rush wasn't as good. Pagano might have been the key from the jump and didnt get the fruits of his labor showing until this year.
