Rookie Mini Camp, Voluntary Offseason Workouts, and such

Of the rookies at mini-camp, Q said Masse stood out on the field. He made the best first impression. Nice to hear.
I didn't even know who you were talking about.

Typing another letter isn't that hard, Masse, Lindy....
cease and desist.

Catching the ball with your hands is a nice start!

No RAS super score rating for that

I can't tell if Mendoza is uniquely marketable or if this is just what it's like to have the top QB rookie. The media is definitely Team Fernando though. He's got a little of the Payton Manning ham to his personality too.

Not sure what part.

Peyton Manning worked hard, stupidly hard. In before any coach at Tennessee.

But he was also arrogant as fuck. Unpleasantly so.

Our own rich Gannon was the same way. As was Tom Brady. Work hard. Demand the same from others.

Mendoza has the Work hard part down. I gotta see that demand the same from others

I saw a clip that indicated he had that dog in him at Indiana.

Gannon was a jerk to his teammates and had not earned the right to be so with success. Gannon yelled at a belittled players during games and practice in front of fans and teammates.

Peyton Manning was quoted yelling at a WR in Denver who had a couple of thousand yards seasons before Manning got there. The playbook called for a certain route depth which the WR ran. When Manning yelled and the WR responded Manning old him "If I say it's a twelve yard out it's a twelve yard out. If I tell you on Thursday that it's Saturday, it's Saturday.

A self-confident leader elevates performance without being a dickead. Eli Manning made people work harder just by being himself. I sense Mendoza will quietly hold himself to a high standard and his teammates will feel badly if they don't.
