Bear Fan knew...they warned us about that crap and we've seen it a lot. We have to upgrade the entire offensive system in the off season and that includes a new first class OC.
 
'Ya think the Jets think they can run on the Raiders? Sheese.

Funny how everything the Jets do it's because of Mangini (per the announcers)...Shell gets credit for everything that goes wrong. Winning sure makes a big difference.
 
Morant with another huge fumble. Jets did a nice job of playcalling on that drive. Carr whiffed on that end around.

Fargas and Curry are the only two offensive players who have earned a spot on this team. I really want to see Fargas get that 100 yard game, he's earned it.

Nice of Brooks to throw a piss poor pass on 3rd &2 and then giggle his way to the sideline. I haven't really blasted this dude all year, but man, I don't want him back next season. It's official for me.
 
Detroit is winning but I don't expect it to last. :(

Agreed, he's also "this close" to breaking a long one also.

The more I watch Fargas, the more I think if we had a better O-line, better QB, the running game would be vastly improved. I guess I'm saying that we might not draft a RB afterall....

What if the Raiders DID trade down a few slots, pick up an extra 2nd and end up with say......the best Tackle, Dewayne Jarrett and a possible QB of the future in Russel or the kid from Ohio st.?
 
Pass rush has disapeared. Precisely WHY we should make a run at Justin Smith in the offseason. Huntley may develop. Or he might not. Who the hell knows, give me a proven commodity in SMith any day.
 
All things considered, 10-3 at the half is about as good as we could hope for.

Would this be the first time in franchise history that we had the first pick (if Detroit wins that is) ????

I think Fargas could be a good back, but I just feel Peterson is going to be an elite back in this league. Our offense would be improved immediately with Peterson running the ball and Fargas getting his carries after Peterson wore down the defense for awhile.
 
i've never seen a team get a delay of game penalty before even breaking the huddle. and a time out immediately after that all resulting in brooks throwing a grounder on a poor screen play.:eek:

so far it's more of the same. 1 field goal and tough defense.

Bad execution= Bad coaching. There's no debate here.
 
That last play is the primary reason I don't like Stu as a starter. He bring ZERO intimidation as a hitter. Eddie Anderson would've blown that dude up, causing either a drop or a fumble.
 
that was a pretty weak blow delivered by schweigart. has he ever had a pass deflection? seems like he's always coming in a second late and cleaning up. i am a stu fan, but seriously.

why the fuck is gibson in the game?
