Certainly gives the organization some credibility. Not sure how much real input he has but I'm sure Mark uses him as a sounding board.
 
Geno can hold the fort down for a year or two. He's the best we've had in a long time, but they really need to roll the dice on a franchise guy at some point. This band-aid solution is failing miserably.

W're not the only fan base that elevates these bums. I know Kyle Trask had a hive in Tampa, and Fitzpatrick was the future for the Bills at one point, but at some point we need to get a guy where everybody is like whoa, we got a dude. Even with Rich, I wasn't sure until about a couple of years in, and he was old as dirt.

Pete Carroll has been dealt iffy QB situations before. In Seattle, he lucked into the midget over Matt Flynn and then developed Geno over Drew Locke while everyone had Seattle in loser mode.

If Pete thinks he’s got something to work with with Pickett…and the cost was a 5… that’s the price. We’ve blown higher picks on worse.

I watched the AZ game. We can’t roll with Miller as a 2.

As for Bradley or the other choices…well we’ve got a new front office in town including a guy from the Eagles who was involved in Pickett going there.

Hopefully we don’t have to test him in any significant playing time.

I don't think we ever got to see him on the field with his heart rate under 180bpm. Poor kid played in a permanent state of "Oh my God oh my God oh my God!"

I remember his first couple of games and I'm like maybe we finally got it right and then he proceeded to shit the bed and that was that.
 
JT spoke to two "supposed" insiders and Pickett was slated to be the #1 Qb going into the regular season before he got injured.:rolleyes:

Saw someone else say that. Maybe it's true. That Browns QB situation is a bit of a mess.
