Just gettin' ready for tomorrow.

Anybody gonna be around?

I'll be here. I might be a little late, but I'll be posting away by the second Q.

Sunday Ticket is a godsend.

I'll probably be around

Raiders: 22

The other bay area team: 20

Andrew Walter has his best regular season game to date and leads the Raiders to a late Janokowski FG....

I may well be around for the second half.

I'll be at a buddy's, who will no doubt be channel surfing. Catch as much as I can. Will stop by after the games tonight.

I dig this new board.

Don't have sunday ticket this year.. so will have to make due with internet and radio broadcast.

I battled through that problem last year...

My post counts went up, but I missed seeing a lot of the games live on TV. I used to know a guy who DVD recorded all the games (Where are you Bruce?) and would always want to hook guys up a week or so after the games...

Sunday ticket is awesome though.

I'm getting ready to rock 'n roll...

All I know is we better win or else. Or else, I'll wait until next week. :)

McQuistan at RT?

Posted by Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer on Sunday at 12:39 pm

SAN FRANCISCO _ When the Raiders went through pregame drills, rookie Paul McQuistan was taking some of the reps at right tackle in place of Langston Walker.

Walker was beaten on the fourth-and-1 play by Orpheus Roye that resulted in a 2-yard loss by LaMont Jordan in last week’s 24-21 loss to the Cleveland Browns.

Coach Art Shell said during his Monday press briefing that the Roye play was a “one-on-one battle that we’ve got to win,'’ but said Thursday he anticipated no changes in the starting lineup.

The possibility exists that McQuistan will get some time at right tackle even if he doesn’t start, which gives the Raiders two rookies on the right side. Kevin Boothe, a sixth-round draft pick from Cornell, replaced McQuistan as a starter for the Cleveland game.

Porter sits again

Posted by Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer on Sunday at 12:08 pm

SAN FRANCISCO _ Wide receiver Jerry Porter has now spent a quarter of the season on the inactive list as punishment for a running beef with coach Art Shell.

Porter was one of eight Raiders declared inactive, joining quarterback Aaron Brooks, cornerback Fabian Washington, guard Brad Badger, guard Corey Hulsey, defensive end Kevin Huntley and linebacker Grant Irons.

Inactive for the 49ers were third quarterback Shaun Hill, cornerback B.J. Tucker, fullback Chris Hetherington, guard Larry Allen, tackle Patrick Estes, tight end Vernon Davis, wide receiver Taylor Jacobs and defensive tackle Damane Duckett.

I still don't understand deactivating Hulsey every week since he's the top backup to a couple of previously injured guys at LG and center... and Porter again, er... go Whitted, I guess...

Well, you know, I would have said it's because Badger is the versatile backup, but Badger is in streets too. I guess our backups are Treu Slaughter and McQuistan, errr Walker.

Lets go Raiders Woooo!

Not an encouraging first defensive 'stand' for sure...

We need some meat in the middle of our D line. Now.

Howard is all over the joint though...Dude is FAST.

Good playcalling by the Niners on this series.... Smith has looked real good on those rollouts this year... Brayton and Kelly need to step it up vs the run... Niners are going right at them...

Leinart 2/2 for 60 yards and a touch in his first drive as a starter...

Amazing. Sands comes in and we bottle up Gore...

Doesnt get more disheartening than having the niners march 70+ on their first drive for a TD.

Wow.
