I gotta hand it to them. They actually won back-to-back. I thought they would quit, but they are right now in a thick of it right now. If they can beat KC, they definitely have a shot to win the Wild-Card race.

Nice to see Warren Sapp earn his money yesterday.

How about Kerry Collins lighting up the scoreboard?

Collins has been pretty darn good this year. He hasn't been spectacular and sure he could make a few more plays. But more importantly he isn't hurting the team like the first 6 games last year when he threw interception after interception! That's what the fans wanted to see. The coaches too.

This thing in KC next Sunday is going to be really tough but it can be done. They have to keep their "Pride and Poise" and make some plays.

It was especially good to see Warren Sapp bring the heat and see Jerry Porter finally break out. Can they do it consistently? That is the $64,000 question!

Newby to the forum.

Were the previous two wins flawed? Well, yes, the teams were compartively "bad" and we should have won, but considering the injuries and the fact that this team (and fan base) seemed so utterly dejected following the SD debacle, most of us figured we would whimper our way through the rest of the year - much like the past couple of seasons, but they have responded !!!

To be sure, the games against KC will provide a better barometer of whether or not we're a true contender for a playoff position, but one thing is for certain, this team has NOT quit. For the first time in a while, I'm excited about the young talent on defense and can Raider Nation finally give Rob Ryan some credit? Many people were and remain perplexed by the Tyler Brayton experiment at LB'er, but looking at from a big picture point of view, this exposure to OLB for a true DE will only servce the team well when he is asked to drop into coverage on a zone blitz. Derrick Burgess is...dare I say....looking a bit like Greg Townsend. OK, that was a bit much, but at least like a poor man's Derrick Thomas. I'll take that. Routt & Washington look like solid picks afterall and Nmandi Asomugha has become the "physical" CB that we need to deal with big WR's like Keyshon Johnson, etc.

We're thin at LB'er, but Kirk Morrison & Danny Clark form a nice physical tandem. Add a quick OLB to this mix and we'll really have something.

I don't like our Safety situation, but then again, I haven't liked it since Eddie Anderson & Van McKelroy. Rome wasn't built in a day or so they say.

Anyway, work is calling.

Excellent take...

Couldn't add much to that.

Nice take. And don't I know you from somewhere? :p

Interesting idea. How long have you been up & running?

Well a while but it takes me a long time to figure this shit out.

Still have a few issues and some features to be added but thought now would be a good time.

Besides I didn't want TiceMustGo to be talking to himself. Dude has some good things to say. ;)

I don't suppose TiceMustGo is someone otherwise known as Kansas Viking?

Nope. Another Viking fan.

Sent over her by Blue Damsel.

Glad he's here! Good guy. :)

We've had pretty good experience with Vikings fans over the years - the few that we've encountered that is.

Bronco & Chief fans?????????

Well I'm new around here so I won't walk in the front door with guns blazing, but needless to say, it has been.....shall we say....."contentious" with that group for some time.

Well, I'll be absolutely honest. The only Denver fans I can remember running into didn't know anything about football, and I can only remember one Kansas City fan who did. The rest, well...

So it will be refreshing to find a couple to actually speak with intelligently.

I know of a couple Bronco fans inparticular that are prone to assaults. I would smacked 'em, but they were girls. Damn chivalry.

Rup !!! Good to see you here.

In the interest of Full Disclousre, not all Raider Fans are exactly fountains of knowledge either. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA

Oh they're fountains alright, but NOT of knowledge.
