You get in O’Connell’s ear and say throw it away if Bo did not scheme a player open, like Mayer got schemed open several times. That said, I think AP was afraid of sacks as much as pics.

You really think they don’t tell him that? AP literally said in the PC that Aidan knows the most important thing is to take care of the ball. Aidan knows this, he just panics.

You win by limiting mistakes, hanging around, and trying to steal one. That’s the formula. AP has made mistakes, sure, but we lost yesterday because of the QB. If he plays better, we win. That’s actually pretty significant given the talent differential between the two teams.

Have no problem with going for it there. Kicking the FG only gets you within 4 points, still gonna need a TD to win it. Plus, you can't discount the possibility of the Fins scoring again, which puts the game out of reach.

Didn't like the play call, think we'd have been able to gain 4 yards with a better choice by Bo. But that's another story.

What I absolutely HATED was pissing away the final 40 seconds of the first half at the Fin 30 with two timeouts in your pocket.

That's just chicken shit garbage. Not winning or Raider football.

Fuck Pierce.

Seeing #Raiders playing O'Connell to see if he's the future while in reality he is playing because the veteran they signed stunk. Sure, this is an audition for the future (as it is for every player) but the true reason AO'C is playing is because there's no better option.

Yeah nobody wants to see Jimmy ever again. Just saying that if you took the jersey nameplate and numbers away, same shit. Aidan is most definitely starting because he’s the only one with any developmental upside.

I would keep Antonio Pierce at HC and bring in a OC for the X's and O's and a qarterback coach with a track record of developing young QBs. Mark Davis already took away an interim HC who got this team to play and replaced it with a shiny object with a glittery rep -- and paid for it dearly. If you count Jon Gruden, you could say he's done that twice. I don't want to see that a third time. No need to lose the steering wheel to tune the engine.

I wonder since we are paying gruden anyways would he be open to come in as the O coordinator next year. Have Ap coach make gruden O coordinator. Say what you want about Gruden but he knows how to put an offense together we beat the chiefs under Gru we beat Baltimore under Gru. We all were screaming if we had a defense but now we have one. Watching Gruden work for the saints is strange he is a Pirate.
