I'm gonna be watching. I'm going down with the ship.

Tomlison should go for a buck fifty and three scores. Well anyway he's fun to watch. Talk about a warrior.

I wonder if anyone has watched the Steelers @ Ravens game. I'm watching the complete collapse of the offense run by last year's genius who isn't making adjustments to save his QB's ass or generate any semblance of offense. This is the guy everyone wanted as our head coach? Strange how their poor execution is undermining this guy, but I'm sure everyone will give him a pass because his offense is more up-to-date.

Weird. I've been watching that game the most today, and have seen pretty much the opposite of what you just said...

1) Roeth got sacked three times by guys who werent even BLOCKED. We are talking free shot at the QB style. Thats not scheme thats your favorite buzz word "Execution". Get a guy on him for fuck sakes...A back at least!

2) Hines Ward is injured, and was literally a gameday decision and Roeth is coming off a pretty nasty concussion (Among other things) and it shows. Again, this is in no way Wiz's fault.

3) Baltimore is arguably the top team in the league right now, and their defense is in the top 2-3 overall, without question. No team ever looks great playing them, and not a lot of adjustments can be by Pittsburgh's OC when McNair/Heap/Mason/Jamal are playing as well as they are on offense...

I'd take Wiz in a heartbeat over every coach we've trotted out there in 3+ years. He made a smart move not jumping onto our sinking ship...

How is that the opposite of:
Strange how their poor execution is undermining this guy
But please explain to me what adjustments he made to correct the problem.

Guess it's pretty clear that without Brooks in there we go three and out. Wow...

Now i watch Brooks ignore two receivers open across the middle on consecutive plays to force a botched field goal attempt. First he almost throws a pick trying for the TD when Whitted was open on a 7-yard crossing route, then he ignores Curry open in the middle about 8 yards downfield when he threw to Williams who dropped it.

Using the TVU Player and it SUCKS today......

So does our team. Don't worry you're not missing much.

Comparing Wisenhunts offense to our Raiders is a laughable attempt at best.

Pitt: 371 yards a game. (Top seven in the league. Yep top 7)
Oak: 239 yards a game. (By far the worst offense this year, and arguably since the early nineties Seahawks)

-Thats 130+ yards more, with an injured QB and plenty of other bad situations.

Pitt: 21 PPG
Oak: 11 PPG

- 10+ points per game more...?

This argument is laughable, Rupe. Sorry, but it is.

Trying to justify why Bed and Breakfast still has a job in any league higher than pop warner is silly. The guy has been atrocious.

Sorry RF007. You need to check the game stats. B&B did almost as well against the Ravens as the genius did, with much greater personnel limitations. And you still didn't give me one single adjustment that the genius made that worked. Seems sometimes the truth hurts too much.

Nuff said there.

Agreed.

I'm not a coach, I don't call adjustments or try to analyze them when I watch a game.

The day I rewatch a Steelers game to win an argument against a guy who thinks Tom Walsh was a good move will be the first...

I will say that I thought it was silly for you to patronize Wisenhunt to make Walsh look any better, and I quickly posted a few season stats that show you how much more superior Wisenhunt is compared to Shell/Walsh and company.

We'd only be so lucky to have him...:(

Yeah, an injured QB versus a 1st year starter and an offense that is coming off wining a super bowl. Yeah, silly comparison.

Our corners look real solid today thus far

No, you should feel silly for not understanding the comparison. It was about execution. Bringing in Wisenhunt wouldn't have changed the poor level of execution and bad players we have on offense.

Would it make you feel better if we just said "you're right"? I'm sick of hearing this tired argument. Really I am.

It's fun watching this defense continue to get better. That is what our season has been reduced to.
